Brownlow blunder: St Kilda star Jack Sinclair’s partner Jessica Edwards shows more than she bargained for in very sheer dress

WAG Jessica Edwards was in the spotlight on Monday night when she walked the red carpet at the Brownlow Medal, but not for the reasons she had hoped.

The 26-year-old social media star showed off a lot more than she bargained for as she arrived in a sheer purple dress on the arm of her boyfriend, St Kilda player Jack Sinclair.

The bright lights at the Crown Melbourne led to an awkward gaffe, with the YouTube sensation exposing her nipples as they reflected a camera flash.

Jessica had a big smile on her face as she posed with her boyfriend, unaware of the fashion faux pas that was visible just below the collar of her dress.

Her nude panties were also visible beneath the thin, sheer material, but it appears that was at least the function of the Rat & Boa dress, which retails for $430.

The lifestyle vlogger teamed her sassy look with a pair of strappy black heels and simple gold jewelry.

She opted for a smokey eye look and a nude lipstick and tied her brunette locks into a tight bun, leaving out a few hairs that framed her face.

Meanwhile, his 29-year-old partner Jack looked very happy to be attending the AFL night of nights, as he wore a stylish black and white tuxedo.

It comes after Carlton captain Patrick Cripps won his second AFL Brownlow Medal on Monday night, winning a record 45 votes to take the honour in convincing fashion.

The 29-year-old is the first player to win the Brownlows award twice for Carlton, having also won the game’s most prestigious individual award two years ago.

Cripps had an unassailable lead with four laps to go and Collingwood’s Nick Daicos was second with 38, while Port Adelaide’s Zak Butters was third with 29 points.

After three years of close results, this is the most impressive victory since Brisbane Lions’ Lachie Neale won the first of his two Brownlows by 10 points in the COVID-shortened 2020 season.

Despite the fashion blunder, Jessica looked stunning in the racy dress as she arrived arm in arm with her partner Jack, who looked very handsome in a tuxedo

Daicos, who was second favourite behind Cripps, also broke the old record of 36 votes, previously jointly held by Richmond’s Dustin Martin (2017) and Port Adelaide’s Ollie Wines (2021).

Cripps nodded to his fellow record-breaker after the win: ‘Crazy night mate. I want to start by mentioning Nick, he broke the record tonight too. Nick, I love watching you, I love playing against you. Congratulations on a great year.

“So many guys have had great years. I knew this was my most consistent year, there were a few mistakes I had to work on. It’s the most games I’ve played. You never know, Brownlow night, that’s what makes it so exciting.

“I’m incredibly grateful to be here, it’s something I don’t take lightly,” he concluded.
