Is the 2024 Brownlow Medal the worst WAG red carpet ever? Fans criticise the glamorous wives and girlfriends of AFL’s top players as they reveal their awkwardly tight corsets and barely-there gowns – and even Bec Judd’s outfit disappoints
Voluptuous breasts, revealing slits and dropped waists were on display in abundance among the wives and girlfriends of the AFL’s biggest stars as they walked the red carpet for the 2024 Brownlow Medal in Melbourne.
But surprisingly, many of the glamorous partygoers failed to charm the crowds at the annual black tie event.
Style icon Bec Judd made the list of worst dressed women after a six-year absence from the AFL night of nights, joined by brunettes Brodie Ryan and Charlotte Viney.
The women were in good company, with many critics calling it the worst red carpet in the history of this prestigious event.
Rebecca Judd
Onlookers were eagerly awaiting style icon Rebecca Judd’s outfit, but the mother of four surprised her fans for all the wrong reasons when she arrived in a soft pink J’Aton Couture corset dress.
The dress was sleeveless and hugged her figure all the way to her hips, where it flared out into a satin fishtail.
The J’Aton Couture gown was floor-length and featured a lace-up closure across the long bodice. But Bec opted for a glamorous makeup look with a rosy blush and dark pink lipstick, while wearing her caramel locks loose.

Charlotte Vineyard
Charlotte Viney, wife of Jack Viney, wore a daring black dress by Antoinette Fusillo. The dress accentuated her phenomenal figure and left little to the imagination, but did not quite fit the dress code.
The dress hugged her figure and featured a flowing sash and a one-shoulder design, made entirely from a semi-sheer fabric.

Brodie Ryan
Brodie Ryan, partner of AFL legend Nathan Buckley, also missed the red carpet this year, wearing a full baby pink corset dress with pearls and a statement bird bag.
The ensemble featured a fitted corset bodice that accentuated her enviable curves and featured a dramatic sweetheart neckline that highlighted her cleavage.
The satin pink dress flared into a voluminous skirt, adding a touch of glamour and elegance to the daring look.

CORSETS
Tonight there were super tight corset dresses on display in all sorts of colours, styles and fabrics.
Alex Pendlebury opted for a nude corset dress with boning and a thigh-high slit, but risked ruining her wardrobe.
Emily Halverson stepped out in a black and white look that did not show off her petite figure.
Dayne Zorko’s wife Talia Zorko opted for a quirky corset dress with a silver drop waist, but it didn’t suit her very well.

CENTER FLOP
Elise Gosdschan showed off her rock-hard abs and tanned skin in a two-piece outfit that defied expectations.
The same went for Toby Greene’s wife Georgia, who appeared in a black dress with a thigh-length slit and an extreme V-neck.
V-NECK
Plunging necklines were spotted on many outfits ahead of the event in Melbourne.
Isabella Cavallaro and Georgia Greene seem to have taken a wrong step in the fashion world.
Isabella showed off a fuller bust by opting for a plunging silver V-neck dress, while Georgia looked almost out of place in her plunging gown.

EVERYTHING IS ALLOWED
Tiffany Browne posed on the red carpet, but her black and silver dress didn’t do much to make her stand out.
Hayley, the wife of Richmond Tigers’ Toby Nankervis, was a lady in red, but the fabric and style choice weren’t quite what they were looking for.
Dee Salmin opted for a revealing outfit that hung loosely on her petite frame, while Georgia Kelly, partner of Richmond Tigers’ Nick Vlastuin, opted for a black and white dress that hugged her figure but lost points for its pink puff sleeves.
Australian meteorologist and weather presenter Jane Bunn was one of the first to arrive in a navy ruffled dress from Forever New, which is on sale at Myer for $129.99.
