Brooks Koepka’s wife has sent her support after he collapsed on the final day of the Masters.
Jon Rahm got a final round of 69, while four-time Major winner Koepka failed to a three-over round of 75, giving the Spaniard his first green jacket claim.
It was a disappointing conclusion for Koepka, who teamed up with Phil Mickelson to complete four shots at Rahm – meaning his wait for a first Masters title continues.
There was optimism for Koepka as he started the final day four shots ahead of Rahm with eleven shots remaining in the third round.
While he couldn’t hold on and take the win, his wife Jena Sims paid a special tribute to her husband on Instagram, while also congratulating Rahm and his partner Kelley Cahill.

Koepka had a four-shot lead over Rahm leading up to Sunday, but made a number of costly mistakes that allowed the Spaniard to win the famous green jacket in Augusta.
Koepka’s wife Jena Sims paid tribute to her husband and congratulated Rahm at the same time
In an Instagram story where she sees her husband speak at a televised press conference, she wrote, “I love you, I’m so proud.
“Huge congratulations to the Rahm family, they played like crazy there and well deserved.”
The following post on her Instagram story, she shared a photo of Rahm and Cahill kissing after he sealed the win.
Sims, an actress and model, married Koepka in the Turks and Caicos Islands in the Caribbean last June.
Although she had seen the last day on television, she had caddied for her husband at the Augusta Par-3 tournament earlier in the week.
Sims shared several photos and videos of herself in the iconic white jumpsuit as she carried her husband’s clubs around the court.

She seemed especially happy caddying for her husband on the Augusta course, as they met at the 2015 Masters Tournament.
Sims previously said that she was a longtime golf fan and always grew up into the sport because of her father.
Koepka aimed to lead from start to finish and secure the third leg of a career grand slam.
The former world number one won four majors in eight starts between 2017 and 2019 — a stretch that saw him finish joint second behind Tiger Woods at Augusta in 2019.
The 32-year-old has struggled to reproduce that form while battling a succession of injuries over the past two years, but believes he can add to his great tally in the future.
Koepka was disappointed with his defeat, but congratulated Rahm after the victory was sealed
“I’ve known this for a while, but I think it was just a matter of getting out there and doing it,” he said. “I led three laps and just didn’t do it on the last day, that’s all. Simply.
“Ultimately this will be positive. I’d say probably give it a week and I’ll start to see some positives and take this into the PGA, the US Open and The Open.
“But right now it’s kind of hard to see, if I’m honest, probably for the next few hours and the next few days.”
