The 43-year-old mother, who has not yet been identified, was with her two children, ages five and three, at the home on 52nd Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues in Brooklyn’s Sunset Park neighborhood.

They were attacked just before 2 p.m. in their second-floor apartment, police said.
