Brooklyn Beckham says it was ‘so cool’ to see the Spice Girls reunite at his mum Victoria’s 50th birthday bash ‘after so many years’ as he reflects on the moment he filmed them performing

Brooklyn Beckham has recalled the day the Spice Girls reunited at his mother Victoria’s 50th birthday party in May.

The son of David and Victoria Beckham, 25, said ‘it was so cool’ to see the group reunite and perform again after ‘so many years’ away from the stage.

Brooklyn also revealed he was the man behind the camera who filmed his mother singing with Mel B, Mel C, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton – while his little brother Cruz played guitar.

The photographer and aspiring chef played Rent Free Ankur Jain, founder and CEO of Bilt Rewards, when discussing the iconic video.

Ankur said: “You filmed that video that went viral with your mother. What was the story behind that?’

Brooklyn said, “Omg my mom’s birthday. So it was in London at this bar and the Spice Girls came over and they started performing and I just picked up my phone and started filming and thought, “This is so cool.”

“I haven’t seen them perform in so long, so it was a lot of fun.”

The aspiring chef talked about the viral moment while participating in Bilt’s Rent Free campaign — a monthly game show-style segment featuring celebrity guests, in which Bilt members can win up to $2,500.

The video shows Cruz cheering on the legendary girl band as they sat in front of one microphone on stage, while he played guitar and sang with them.

The Spice Girls looked excited to be reunited at Oswald’s for the party as they wrapped their arms around each other and waved as they sang in front of the star-studded crowd.

After singing the chorus, the girl band started laughing and stopped singing, prompting Mel B to ask fellow guests, “Are we in tune?” I’m not sure that’s true.’

Cruz simply posted the video to Instagram and captioned it, “You’re welcome….”

Fans quickly took to the comments to thank Cruz for sharing the clip, with some revealing they were in “tears” watching the video, while others begged for a “reunion tour.”

‘OMG Cruz! Thank you for making this possible and then sharing it! They are so special; Another tour please; Omg omg omg!!! Thanks @cruzbeckham;
