Brooke Warne has admitted she is a ‘mini-me’ version of her late legendary cricket father Shane Warne.
The 26-year-old, who is the eldest daughter of the cricketer and his ex-wife Simone Callahan, said on the Ttell me more podcast, she has picked up her father’s qualities.
“I think I’m really a mini Shane over the years,” she said.
“The way we look, the way we act, our mannerisms, everything, we’re very similar.”
Brooke admitted that she always wondered why she didn’t look like her mother, but is now “so proud” of being a “mini-Shane.”

‘I always thought, ‘Why didn’t I get the gene from my mother?’ and I think over the years, as I got to know my father better and to know myself, I was so proud that I am a mini-Shane,” she added.
It comes after Brooke recently opened up about her struggles after her legendary father died in March last year.
She told Stellar Magazine that her family, including siblings Jackson and Summer and mother Simone Callahan, have joined forces.
‘We have always stayed together as a family. We have always had each other’s backs. We are doing well,” she said.

‘Obviously I miss him and think about him every second. That will never change,” Brooke continued.
“I think we’re just learning to accept life, that this is our life now, and do the best for him and make him proud… and be positive and enjoy everything. You don’t know what’s going to happen.’
Shane died in March 2022 of a suspected heart attack while on holiday in Thailand.
