Brooke Shields says Tom Cruise has mysteriously stopped sending her a coconut cake every Christmas.
The Manhattan native, 57, speaks with People Tuesday, said she was “on the list for a while” until the pies suddenly stopped.
Cruise annually sends those in his Hollywood circle the cake, a $126 turban cake released by Doan’s Bakery in Woodland Hills, California, according to the publication.
The actress and model told the publication she was “very happy” to receive the cake during the holiday season.
“I was on the list for a while — I had a good 10-year run and I got the coconut cake every year,” said the actress, who has been on the promotional trail for her new Hulu doc Pretty Baby: Brooke Shields.

Shields noted in that magazine that the cakes were initially a gift from Cruise, his ex-wife Katie Holmes, and their daughter Suri, and that he slowly stopped shipping them.
“It was them and Suri, so it was the three of them, and soon it wasn’t Suri and it wasn’t Katie and it was just Tom,” Shields said. “Then it went from just Tom for a while, but not every holiday. And then the cake stopped.’
Shields was mentioned in Cruise’s 2005 Today show interview, in which he spoke of his opposition to her use of antidepressants when she was treating postpartum depression after welcoming her child Rowan.
Shields replied in a July 2005 piece The New York Timesand the issue didn’t affect the couple’s friendship, as Cruise invited her to his 2006 wedding to Holmes in Italy.
She said she has no idea “what happened” that caused Cruise to stop sending the pies, adding, “I want to get back on that pie list.”
“It’s the best cake – Tom, I need to get back on the cake list.”
The actress has been on the promotional trail lately for her new Hulu doc Pretty Baby: Brooke Shields. She made headlines when the doctor revealed that she ran out of the room “ass naked” after losing her virginity to Superman star Dean Cain when she was 22.
In the documentary, Shields said she felt “regret” about having sex with Cain for the first time, and that he was “more comfortable with the sexual part” of their relationship than she was.

Brooke Shields with Dean Cain in 1995. The two started dating when they were in college
Brooke Shields’ explosive new documentary was released on Hulu in two parts on April 3
The couple dated when they were both students at Princeton University, and Shields recalled how she was more interested in “the love and the commitment” side of their relationship, learning about each other while they were together.
In the documentary, Shields explores her complex life, which included posing nude as a young girl and being publicly sexualized in show business during her teenage years.
Shields laughingly recalled her first time sleeping with Cain when she was a junior in college.
“When we finally had sex, I immediately ran out of the room, running down the hallway naked, just running. I didn’t know where I was going,” she said
“He ran after me with the duvet, grabbed me and said, ‘Where are you going?’ He said, “I’m not going anywhere, I’m not leaving you, you’re the same person.” He understood immediately and I just cried.
“I wanted to get into the personal relationship and the love and the commitment,” she said in the documentary. “We had to teach each other about each other.”
She explained how she was baffled by her reaction to sex at the time, saying, “I feel sorry for that girl.
“She was old enough to really own her own body. And I just couldn’t reach it at that moment.’
In her 2015 memoir, There Was a Little Girl, The Real Story of My Mother and Me, Shields previously described how her response was rejected by her mother’s possessiveness.
“I believe she only wanted me to stay with her,” Shields wrote. “She believed in an absolute hold she had over me and growing up, and having sex, would mean I was leaving her.”
“It should have been what I wished for myself, but in an instant the guilt hit me in the face. Instead of giving in to what was a loving and emotionally secure relationship and escaping to the most intimate and deserved moment, I began to cry deeply and silently and became so overwhelmed that I jumped out of bed.”
In the documentary, the 57-year-old said she felt “regret” about having sex with Cain for the first time, and that he was “more comfortable with the sexual part” of their relationship than she was.
Dean Cain is depicted in his heyday

In the two-part documentary that aired April 3, Shields explored her complicated relationship with her mother, who watched as she was forced to seductively kiss Keith Carradine, then 27, in the 1978 film Pretty Baby, in which she played a prostitute on only 11 years old.
Ms Shields, 57, said she struggled to understand how her mother Teri Shields failed to intervene when she revealed that her own daughters, Rowan, 19, and Grier, 16, refused to watch it.
In the documentary, Rowan said, “It’s child pornography! Would you have let us go [do that] at age 11?’
Shields replied “No” as she was overcome with emotion.
The star’s mother was an alcoholic who died in 2012. Shields, an only child, said she couldn’t be mad at her because her mother was so insecure.
The actress long brushed off her mother’s guilt — who allowed Shields to pose nude for a Playboy publication at the age of 10 — but Shields now admitted, “I don’t know why she thought it was okay.” Don’t know.’

The incidents weren’t the first she’s been sexualized by the media. At fifteen she shot ‘Blue Lagoon’ and then came ‘Endless Love’. Both featured sex and nudity, while she also appeared scantily clad in a Calvin Klein denim ad campaign at the same age.
When she was 16 and a global star, a family friend and photographer tried to sell nude photos he had taken of her when she was only 10. Her mother sued and the family went to court, but the photographer won.
Shields has been approached about documentaries before and always said no. But with a child entering college, and with her friend Ali Wentworth’s encouragement and a sense of security about her life from years of therapy, Shields felt the time was right.
She recently admitted that even in her books she didn’t tell the whole truth when it came to the nude pictures of her as a child.
“It was really too much for me to give in to that,” Shields said. “Writing about it just broke me. It was she I protected.’
