Brooke Shields, 57, looks stunning in a sexy photo shoot for a magazine as she opens up about her life, admitting: “I’m still a work in progress.”

Brooke Shields is opening up about the last part of her life.

The 57-year-old actress looked stunning on the cover of new beauty magazine in a belted silver dress with a plunging neckline and showed off her toned legs, sheer black pantyhose.

Her signature brown locks were styled in loose curls for the magazine’s photo shoot, which hits newsstands on January 10.

In the interview, the Blue Lagoon actress admitted that “I’m still a work in progress” as she shared some of her most recent endeavors, including her podcast, Now What? with Brooke Shields and her new company, Beginning is Now.

“The brand is for women over 40 and is a wellness and wellness platform,” she explained.

“It’s meant to encourage and inspire women to start new chapters in their lives and look forward, rather than feeling like their life is over because they’ve reached a ‘certain age.

The website and social media accounts offer everyday advice from the Princeton grad and more targeted guidance from experts invited to share their wisdom.

Brooke backed up her mantra The Beginning Is Now, showcasing her timeless beauty in a series of sexy yet sophisticated snaps for the magazine’s cover story, including a business-friendly charcoal gray dress with a black plaid coat, a pleated white dress in a white jacket and flirty mini sweater dress with feather trim, black stockings and white thigh-high boots.

The podcast, which launched in October, has included guests such as her Blue Lagoon co-star Christopher Atkins, actress Jessica Capshaw and comedian Patton Oswalt.

‘At first, I told the guests that they didn’t have to answer anything; I felt like I was betraying them by suddenly being on this “side”. I recently realized that if I am willing to be vulnerable, people can feel safe talking to me, not like they are facing a firing squad. The more I do an exchange, the more authentic it feels.’

In keeping with her goal of authenticity, the Suddenly Susan star freely admits that when it comes to her beauty routine, she can’t give herself a blowout.

But when it comes to keeping her appearance as youthful as possible, she acknowledged that she turned to Fraxel laser treatments to treat age spots on her face and hands.

Brooke understands that many of her fans won’t be able to afford the treatment, but she hopes they find other products that work within their budgets.

“I recently learned that beauty really is self-care, not self-indulgence.”
