Brooke Burke, 52, reveals what she is doing in 2024 to ‘strengthen my self-confidence’ as she shows off her abs in a bikini while in Malibu

Brooke Burke was spotted in a colorful bikini on Monday as she spoke to DailyMail.com in Malibu about her 2024 fitness goals.

The former Dancing With The Stars champion and co-host said she hopes to “reset” her body so she has more energy.

That means she will use meditation more as part of her daily routine.

'I use a meditation guided by my voice so that I can relax. It's all about body, mind and spirit together,” she shared.

“Through daily meditation, we will retrain our brains and develop new habits to change our perspective and achieve and complete our wellness goals,” she added.

'I guide followers through training and mindfulness exercises designed to strengthen not only your self-confidence, but also your mental resilience.'

And she also said that feeling good has a lot to do with “community, connection and awareness.”

'Meditation helps reduce stress, control anxiety and improve sleep. It helps extend attention span, reduce age-related memory loss and promote emotional health. It can even help manage pain, lower blood pressure and support recovery. Most importantly, meditation promotes kindness,” says Brooke.

“And the world can always use more kindness!”

According to Psychology Today, meditation is a mental exercise that trains attention and awareness. She discussed the joys of intermittent fasting, which is becoming increasingly popular. It means eating in an eight-hour window and then not eating for the remaining 16 hours a day.

“It's a simple but powerful concept: limit eating to an eight-hour window and fast for the remaining 16 hours of the day,” Brooke told DailyMail.com.

“For example, if you eat at 7 p.m., your next meal will be at 11 a.m. the next morning,” she explained.

“Start each week by taking time – before your schedule gets busy – to calm and cleanse both your mind and your body.

'Whether you practice yoga, meditation or even simple breathwork, the most important thing is that you find a way to center yourself, focus your intentions and make conscious choices for the week ahead.

'Mondays are the perfect days to “Go Green” with fresh, delicious and nutritious fruits and vegetables.

'Go to the local farmer's market or organic food store and stock up.

'Here are just a few examples of mainly plant-based meals that are simple, fresh and light. There's no reason to go hungry if you nourish your body with crunchy vegetables, healthy soups, hot green tea and plenty of water.'

“One of my favorite meals is a junk food salad,” she told DailyMail.com.

'It's a funny name I came up with for a salad I make at home that consists of whatever is in my fridge. I use chicken from the night before or salmon, vegetables I happen to have like broccoli or tomatoes, and maybe even seeds and nuts, I just add it all.”

And she explained that she makes her own healthy dressing. “I will mix olive oil, which is a good fat, Dijon mustard, vinegar, salt and lemon in a mason jar so it will keep,” she noted.

It takes three weeks to form a new habit, she said, and that's exactly the duration of her new 21-day fitness challenge. “And one of the healthy habits we're going to create is a daily meditation practice. Trust me on this firstly, the benefits for the mind and body are incredible.”

'You find your strength in the space of silence. Make meditation a habit. Forming new habits is easier than we think. We actually do it all the time.

“When school starts, we shift our morning schedule to get everyone ready on time. When our children's extracurricular activities change, we adjust our afternoon routine to manage new pick-ups and drop-offs. We don't think much about it… when we meet the needs of others.

The cover girl has been married twice before: to plastic surgeon Garth Fisher from 2001 to 2005 and then to Baywatch actor Dave Charvet from 2011 to 2020.

'I might be a little daring when I look at fun colours. I was thinking more of a nude shade, I really like nude shades these days, they are so elegant,” the TV presenter added.
