Brooke Blurton felt comfortable at her book signing in Perth on Tuesday night.

The former Bachelorette star, 27, kicked her heels addressing fans at the City of Perth Library on Hay Street.

She arrived at the venue in a bright orange mini dress and long yellow jacket, which she paired with a chunky gold necklace and black crossbody handbag.

Brooke pulled her dark brown hair back into a tight low bun and opted for a bronzed makeup look.

She completed her outfit with pointy diamond heels and bows.

The Bachelor in Paradise alum kicked off her shoes later in the evening as she addressed the guests onstage.

Big Love is a memoir that chronicles Brooke’s life story as a First Nations bisexual woman and her experiences in The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.

The reality TV star announced earlier this year that she was writing the book to be released through HarperCollins Australia.

The book also documents her traumatic childhood, which was marred by sexual assault, drug-fuelled violence and her mother’s suicide when she was just 11.

During an interview with Daily Mail Australia in April, Blurton revealed why she picked up a pen and wrote a book at such a young age.

“For me, it’s about normalizing situations and experiences that other young people can have and have had throughout their lives,” she said.

Blurton added that it was undoubtedly “hard” to relive past trauma, but said “it’s more about telling the truth of my story and owning it.”

Brooke, a Noongar-Yamatji woman from Western Australia, hopes her book will connect with people from similar backgrounds with similar experiences to hers.

“The book has very cathartic moments,” she added.

“I think it’s very enlightening in some ways that I can look at it [my life] afterwards and like, “Wow, I’ve done so much, and I’ve only just started.”

‘I’m only 27, so I get the ins and outs on paper. You’ll see the stream of everything I’ve been about on TV, interviews, articles… I’ve been it all.

“The memoirs show what I’m passionate about. It’s about realizing you’re strong, but definitely not bulletproof. Seeing that resilience and strength on paper is very unusual and surreal.’
