Bronny James makes his long-awaited college basketball debut for USC just five months after going into cardiac arrest during practice… and legendary dad LeBron is watching from the court
After a long recovery from cardiac arrest last July, Bronny James has made his college basketball debut with the USC Trojans.
The team tweeted an image of Bronny's jersey hanging in a locker before he tipped, and he was seen pulling off windmill dunks during warmups.
This all happened while his father, LeBron James, watched less than 24 hours after winning the NBA's first-ever In-Season Tournament.
He entered the game with 12:58 left in the first half and missed his first shot of the day.
Bronny suffered cardiac arrest on July 24 this year due to a congenital heart defect.
He spent three days in hospital before being released on July 27. Since then, he has been rehabbing his injury in hopes of returning to the court.
THIS IS A DEVELOPMENT STORY. MORE TO FOLLOW.
