Bronny James is a LAKER! LeBron’s son is drafted by Los Angeles in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft after spending a year on USC’s bench

Bronny James is joining the Los Angeles Lakers to play alongside his father, LeBron James.

The Lakers selected Bronny in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft with the 55th overall selection.

The pick follows weeks of speculation about where Bronny would be picked in the NBA Draft. The pick would range from being picked in the first round to not being picked at all.

But now Bronny – who played at USC last season – is staying with a basketball team in Los Angeles.

In college, Bronny averaged 19.4 minutes, 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.

Leading up to this year’s draft, there was much discussion about whether Bronny was ready for the NBA.

But the LA Lakers decided they had enough and selected the 19-year-old anyway, despite his limited experience and stats from college.
