Broncos bust up! Patrick Carrigan and Adam Reynolds caught out in altercation on camera: ‘Let go of him’

Broncos stars Adam Reynolds and Patrick Carrigan were involved in an aggressive altercation after a night out at Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley this weekend.

Footage has emerged of the two high-profile Brisbane players allegedly involved in a scuffle hours after the club’s annual fan day, reports The courier post.

The footage released on social media shows Reynolds involved in pushing and shoving as a female spectator screams.

The female can be heard shouting, “Let him go… Adam… Pat… stop.”

Another person is heard repeatedly saying, “Reyno.”

It is understood a group of Brisbane players headed to MAYA Mexican restaurant and bar in the vibrant entertainment district.

Witnesses told News Corp that Carrigan was heavily intoxicated, so Reynolds tried to help him leave and suggested they take a taxi home.

But things got heated and a disagreement arose and spilled out into the open.

The incident comes after the club’s successful Fan Day and was reportedly filmed after a night out at Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley.

Other Brisbane Broncos players are also seen in the footage, including Reece Walsh and Jordan Riki, while News Corp has reported that Corey Oates was also in attendance.

The NRL Integrity Unit will investigate the incident. The Broncos released a statement regarding the altercation.

“The Broncos are investigating an incident involving part of their playing group last night in Brisbane city,” a club statement said.

‘The club was informed of the incident last night and has been speaking to players throughout the day to clarify the details of what happened.’

News Corp has reported that Broncos coach Kevin Walters is furious over the altercation, while Broncos chief executive Dave Donaghy held crisis meetings with Reynolds and Carrigan on Monday and formally reported the incident to the NRL.

Carrigan recently re-signed his contract with the club until at least the end of the 2028 season

The Broncos will leave Australia in ten days to take part in the NRL season opener against the Sydney Roosters in Las Vegas.

Brisbane chairman Karl Morris has acknowledged the incident and said club management will not tolerate inappropriate behavior as the Broncos prepare to showcase the NRL brand in the United States.

“It’s very disappointing,” Morris said.

“It’s so close to the start of the season and we have always believed that alcohol is not a performance enhancing drug.

“They’re young men and I’m not going to make excuses for it… These guys should know better.”

Carrigan was disciplined by the club after drinking alcohol while recovering from a knee injury in 2022, which angered coach Walters at the time.

“It’s not acceptable and Pat agrees,” Walters said at the time.

“He acknowledged that and we treated Pat internally.”

However, Morris said it was unlikely the club would waive either player for the blockbuster season opener against the Roosters in Vegas.

“I don’t think this (players missing the Vegas clash) will happen,” Morris said.

“But I’m sure Dave (Donaghy, Broncos) and ‘Kevvie’ (coach Walters) will discipline and educate where necessary.”
