Brittany Mahomes and Taylor Swift are fast becoming girls after cheering on their NFL beaus Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce during the Kansas City Chiefs’ recent games.
The quarterback’s wife is said to be excited at the prospect of becoming a member of the pop star’s team, according to an insider for USWeekly.
“Brittany is thrilled to be building a genuine friendship with Taylor,” the source said Friday after the ladies rubbed elbows at the Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium a day earlier.
Brittany and Taylor were even spotted in the stands sharing a hug after an incredible play by their superstar athlete partners.
“They’ve hung out a few times and grown pretty close in a short period of time,” the insider continued.

“Brittany thinks Taylor is so sweet, and down to earth, and they get along really well.”
There was more than enough time for the women to make a connection, as Taylor had already attended three of Patrick and Travis’ matches.
It helps that the NFL teammates are also buddies off the field.
“The fact that Patrick and Travis are best friends makes things even better,” the insider explained. “(Brittany and Taylor) are having a blast and love cheering on their husbands together.”
Brittany and Taylor first broke bread at a ladies dinner in New York City in late September.
It coincided with the Chiefs’ visit to the New York Jets. Among Taylor’s friends in attendance were Sophie Turner and Blake Lively.
The next day, the entire team made their way to MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
The Chiefs emerged victorious against the Jets, and Ryan Reynolds, Shawn Levy, Sabrina Carpenter and Hugh Jackman joined the group.

The source told US Weekly that there will be more football games in the future for Taylor, although it is unlikely that she will be able to make the entire remaining schedule.

‘She knows it’s not easy when she turns up at his games. It is a spectacle. She wants to support him and find a balance and at the same time not distract the team.’
