Patrick Mahomes isn’t the only member of his family looking to bounce back this offseason.

His wife and former high school sweetheart Brittany revealed Wednesday that she is suffering from a broken back, which she linked to being the mother of two children: three-year-old Sterling and one-year-old Bronze.

“Just your daily reminder: once you have kids, take care of your pelvic floor,” Brittany posted on Instagram. ‘Serious. From: A girl with a broken back.’

The pelvic floor can be weakened during pregnancy and childbirth. And when compromised, women can suffer from a lack of lower back support, which can lead to other problems.

The 28-year-old former high school football star posted the message alongside a selfie. And while she hasn’t shared her whereabouts, Brittany was spotted arriving at an airport in Mexico on Wednesday, where she and her family were expected to relax for a few days.

‘…maybe going on holiday with my friends will make my back better?’ Brittany wrote in another post.

The Mahomes family has been busy this past month.

First, Patrick’s Chiefs won their second straight Super Bowl, beating the San Francisco 49ers in overtime at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

The next day, Patrick and the family flew to Disneyland for the usual Super Bowl MVP visit.

β€œThe day after the Super Bowl win, grind for mom and dad, best time ever for (kids) Sterling and Bronze,” read a caption from Brittany posted weeks after the visit.

Brittany added that she would “do it again and again, so same time next year daddy??”

But the celebration took a dark turn during the Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade days later in Kansas City, where gunmen opened fire, leaving dozens injured and one dead.

Brittany and Patrick both visited shooting victims later that week.

Since then, the couple threw a third birthday party for their daughter Sterling Skye.

In a video on Instagram, their eldest can be seen laughing and playing with other young children on a series of slides, Merry Go Rounds and an inflatable bouncy castle. Young Sterling can also be seen sipping from a teacup, but it’s impossible to tell whether she was drinking Earl Grey, English breakfast, Darjeeling or something more age appropriate.

“We celebrated our Sterling Skye today!” Brittany wrote in her Instagram post on Sunday. “I can’t even believe we’re going to have a three-year-old in just a few days!” Time flies when you’re having fun! We love you, baby girl.”

Patrick has some time to kill. In addition to June’s minicamps and OTAs, the decorated quarterback is expected back at training camp on July 23 as the Chiefs attempt to become the first NFL team to win three straight Super Bowls.
