According to insiders, Brittany Mahomes’ NFL WAGs haven’t questioned her support for Donald Trump. They’re too afraid to cross her.

Last month, Brittany, 29, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, drew criticism after liking a series of Instagram posts and comments praising former President Donald Trump, 78. This week, he thanked her for her support.

Now, an insider has spoken exclusively to DailyMail.com about the impact the controversy has had on Brittany’s status, as Taylor Swift was photographed wearing a separate outfit to watch the Chiefs defeat the Baltimore Ravens 27-20 in the NFL season opener on Thursday night.

They stressed that none of Brittany’s soccer friends plan to criticize the mother of two over her political views, as her husband’s success has made her untouchable and no one wants to antagonize Patrick.

“Patrick is still the darling of the NFL, and as long as he keeps winning, regardless of what his family does — from Brittany to his brother to his dad — Patrick will be just fine,” the source said.

‘Brittany still has a good relationship with Patrick, her friends and the other players’ wives.

‘Nobody will cross Brittany because it offers so much access and nobody wants to antagonize Patrick.’

The source claimed that when her recent scandal is discussed, it happens “behind closed doors” and not directly to her face.

“Nobody will ever bring it up at a meeting or a game,” they added. “It won’t be a topic that comes up.”

Many are wondering how Brittany’s political views could affect her relationship with pop star Taylor, 34, with some of the singer’s fans even begging her to stay away from Brittany.

The two stars grew closer after the Grammy winner began dating Patrick’s teammate Travis Kelce, 34, last year.

While Taylor has remained silent about the upcoming election, she has previously expressed her disdain for Trump and voted for his former rival Joe Biden before the 2020 election.

The pair cheered on the Chiefs from separate suites at Arrowhead Stadium last night, but sources have told DailyMail.com the celebrity duo were still hanging out together after the game.

While the source insisted the “noise” isn’t a “problem” among Brittany’s NFL friends right now, they did warn that it could certainly become an issue if the Chiefs were to lose in the future.

“If the Chiefs get into trouble this year, or have a losing streak, people will almost certainly look to outside drama as a possible reason,” the insider added.

“They’re jumping on it straight away, but right now the focus is on getting the season started and trying to get that three peat. All the other noise isn’t a problem yet.”

Days after Brittany came under fire for liking Trump’s posts, she and Patrick were spotted with Taylor and Travis at the hitmaker’s Rhode Island mansion.

They attended a party Taylor threw for actress Blake Lively, which proved there was no tension between them.

Another source previously told DailyMail.com that Taylor and Brittany had made a “pact” not to discuss politics due to their differing views.

“She and Brittany talk about other things and never about politics, so Taylor isn’t going to let this be a breaking point for their friendship.”

Brittany appeared to subtly address the negative reactions during a performance in the WHOOP podcast last week, when she shared how her husband taught her to ignore social media trolls.

“He’s really good at blocking people, so it helped having him next to me,” she said.

‘The most important thing he always told me is to stop worrying about what other people think, especially when they don’t even know you.

“I think social media used to really affect me. Now it’s just like, honestly, I don’t give a f**k what people say about me. And I think he helped me get to that point.

Trump later thanked Brittany for her support in a message he shared on his Truth Social network.
