Patrick Mahomes' wife, Brittany, showed support for the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback after his on-field breakdown Sunday.
A seething Mahomes threw his helmet to the ground and had to be restrained by his teammates as he tried to yell at the officials after a dramatic ending to the Chiefs' 20-17 loss to the Buffalo Bills.
But in the wake of the signal caller's tirade, his wife Brittany Mahomes appeared to support him with a series of family photos on Instagram.
Brittany, who recently became good friends with Taylor Swift, the girlfriend of pop star and tight end Travis Kelce, took to Instagram two days after his breakdown to share the sweet snaps.
Mahomes could be seen crouching down to hug his daughter Sterling Skye, 2, while Brittany held their son, Patrick “Bronze,” 1, in the pregame photos.

She showed her support for the quarterback by captioning the post: “Always drive 15”
In other photos in the carousel, Brittany cradled her children in her arms as she stood on the sidelines.
“Always riding 15,” she captioned the post, referencing the jersey number of the reigning NFL MVP.
Her post comes just two days after Mahomes lost coolly in the final moments of the matchup Sunday.
The Chiefs lost 20–17 to the Buffalo Bills after what would have been a game-winning touchdown by Kadarius Toney was negated due to an offsides penalty on the wide receiver.
A screaming Mahomes had to be restrained as he tried to confront the officials before telling opposite number Josh Allen that the call was “fucking terrible” in the dramatic moments at the end of the game at Arrowhead Stadium.
Much of the Chiefs' anger was thought to stem from the referees' failure to warn them of a possible offensive offside.
But referee Carl Cheffers said Toney was so far offside that he was 'blocking our view of the ball' and admitted he would have given the Chiefs advice on their positioning if they had asked. But head coach Andy Reid admitted that wasn't the case.
Toney's touchdown would have given the hosts a 23-20 lead with just over a minute to play, but when the score was erased and Buffalo held on for the win, the red mist descended on Mahomes.

But two days after the incident, Mahomes admitted that his behavior was excessive and that he is now willing to accept the “consequences” for it.
When asked whether he expected a fine, he replied 610 Sports: 'To be honest, I don't know. I know that when you talk about referees and say things to referees, it's usually not a good thing. Their work is hard, they also try to make their heir as good as possible.
'What happens, happens. You have to accept the consequences of your actions, that's something I've always stood for.
“I didn't act the way I normally do and if there are consequences, I have to accept them.”
Mahomes was widely criticized on Monday, with FOX Sports' Skip Bayless calling his outburst “spoiled brat behavior” while ESPN's Stephen A. Smith claimed the NFL MVP “embarrassed himself.”

Mahomes said he will accept any fine that might come his way from the NFL
“I care, man. I love this game, I love my teammates. I want to go out there and put it all on the line to win,” Mahomes added.
'But of course that's not possible, I can't be like that towards officials or anyone else in life, so I probably regret behaving like that. But most of all, I regretted the way I behaved towards Josh after the match, because he had nothing to do with it.
'It was a tough defeat, but the only thing you can do in this competition is keep going. I watched the film to learn from our mistakes in the game. Keep moving forward in this competition if you want to get back on track.
'It's part of the game, it's part of the game. You try to learn from it, to become better as a person and to be better as a player. Something I will learn from in my career and try to be better when the situation arises.”
