Brittany Hockley reveals heartbreaking news about new Swiss soccer friend Benjamin Siegrist
Brittany Hockley revealed on Thursday that she and her new boyfriend Benjamin Siegrist won’t see each other again until Christmas when she returns to Australia for work.
The podcaster, 36, looked heartbroken as she told friends she would have to be away from the 31-year-old Swiss footballer who lives in Scotland for three months.
She broke the sad news on her Instagram Stories, saying that the lovebirds had commitments in their own home country and had to travel long distances again.
“We’re only seeing each other at Christmas now,” she said in a question-and-answer session when a fan asked when she would next spend time with her goalkeeper boyfriend.
“So we won’t see each other now for the next three months, which is the longest we’ve gone without seeing each other.”

She continued: ‘We said we would have a maximum rule of eight weeks, but our jobs don’t allow that.’
It was at this point that Benjamin came into the picture to show Brittany some affection, as she added, “I’m sure Ben would love an Australian Christmas.”
‘But footballers here play and train on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve; it’s not really a holiday here.’

Brittany went on to say that she would return to Scotland with her family and friends over Christmas so she can celebrate Hogmanay with Benjamin.
Hogmanay is the Scottish word for the last day of the old year and is synonymous with celebrating the new year in the Scottish way.
It comes after Brittany recently shared intimate details about her long-distance relationship with her new Swiss footballer boyfriend Benjamin Siegrist.

The reality star revealed on her radio show in February that she keeps her romance alive by sending Benjamin “sexy photos.”
‘I’m in a fairly new long-distance relationship. My new boyfriend is Swiss and lives in Scotland,” she explained.
“So if you’re in a long-distance relationship, you need to keep it spicy.”
“You’re going to take a sexy little photo. But I always send them as a disappearing photo, he gets them for a moment and that’s enough.’
