Brittany Higgins made a rare public appearance as she and her boyfriend attended the Marie Claire Women of the Year awards.
Higgins and partner David Sharaz were joined by Grace Tame at the Rockpool restaurant in Sydney on Wednesday night.
Tame, who appeared on the cover of the 2021 edition of the Women of the Year awards with Higgins, walked the carpet and posed for photographers on the media wall.
Higgins, on the other hand, arrived early to avoid attention and chose not to be photographed.

Tame shared pictures of herself on her Instagram page with Higgins and several others
She mingled with the guests and sat at the same table as Tame and actor Sophia Forrest.
Later, Tame shared pictures of herself on her Instagram page with Higgins and several others.
Among them were Saxon Adair, a lawyer for sexual assault survivors, and Teela Reid, an indigenous lawyer and campaigner.
A photo of Higgins along with Adair and Tame showed the ex-employee in a good mood.
Tame shone in a low, off-the-shoulder little black dress and paired it with matching black heels and gold hoop earrings.
The former Australian of the Year made headlines in January when she refused to smile alongside Morrison and his wife Jenny in photos over morning tea for the Australian of the Year Awards in Canberra.

She said she deliberately frowned on Mr Morrison because, in her opinion, he “has done and helped objectively terrible things.”
“Whatever your politics, the damage done under his administration was some of the worst in our country’s history, including but not limited to survivors of domestic and sexual violence,” she added.
“If I’d smiled at him, pretended everything was okay, I’d have been a filthy liar.”
At Wednesday’s event, Amy Shark was named Entertainer of the Year and was featured in the latest issue of Marie Claire’s Women of the Year magazine.
The Women of the Year edition was unveiled in Rockpool on Wednesday.
Ash Barty was named Champion of the Year, Linda Burney as Powerhouse of the Year, Leah Purcell Creative of the Year and Chloe Hayden of Heartbreak High was named Rising Star.
Hannah Diviney and Teela Reid were equal winners of the Voice of Now award.
