Brittany Cartwright kisses Cruz on the cheek after seeking full custody of her son she shares with estranged husband Jax Taylor

Brittany Cartwright gave her 3-year-old son Cruz a sweet kiss as they stepped out together in Los Angeles on Thursday.

Brittany, 35, looked casual during her outing with her son, wearing a sweatshirt that read “mom” and gray sweatpants.

The star was spotted a few weeks ago after she filed for divorce from husband Jax Taylor and was awarded primary legal and physical custody of Cruz.

Last week, Jax broke his silence on her decision to file for divorce, saying it was “the right decision for their family.”

Jax, who revealed he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder after a recent stay in a psychiatric facility, said her filing was the “right decision for their family.”

Brittany has requested primary legal and physical custody of the child, but is open to visitation rights for her ex.
