Britney Spears has decided not to do any television interviews to promote her upcoming memoir.
The 41-year-old pop icon – whose book The Woman in Me is full of bombshell claims – has already caused buzz about the literary endeavor with published excerpts.
Spears is generally not interested in sitting down with the media and has recently exchanged with them People it was conducted via email.
Spears was once rumored to have had invitations to appear on 60 Minutes, or in an exclusive interview with Oprah, but they were turned down, TMZ reported.
The music sensation reportedly called it quits on her own press tour.

According to the entertainment news site, the singer does not want to be bombarded with personal questions.
In excerpts from the book, which is due out on October 24, Britney made the shocking revelations.
She admitted she cheated on ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake with choreographer Wade Robson, after years of rumours.
According to SunBritney confirmed in her memoir that she kissed Wade during a night out.
She wrote: “One night we were out and we went to a Spanish bar. We played and danced. I hung out with him that night.’
Britney also wrote that she had been loyal to Justin for years ‘with that one exception’.
The star revealed that she told Justin about her kiss with Wade and they were able to move past it and stay together.
The mother-of-two also revealed that she had an abortion during her relationship with Justin when she was 19.

Spears wrote that while she wanted a baby and ‘dreamed of having a family’ with Justin, who was also 19 at the time, he ultimately ‘wasn’t ready’ for the responsibilities of fatherhood.
In an excerpt published by People, the singer recalled: “It was a surprise, but it wasn’t a tragedy for me.” I loved Justin so much. I always expected that one day we would have a family together. This would be much sooner than I expected.
“He said that we are not ready to have a baby in our lives, that we are too young.” I’m sure people will hate me for this, but I’ve agreed not to have a baby.
“I don’t know if it was the right decision.” If it was up to me, I would never have done it. And yet Justin was so sure he didn’t want to be a father.’
