Britney Spears has revealed she was devastated when Justin Timberlake broke up with her via text message.
The 41-year-old pop megastar – who has finally admitted to cheating with choreographer Wade Robson – has written about the end of her relationship with the 42-year-old Trolls star and how the break-up has affected her.
The The New York Times reported that the Evertime hitmaker wrote in his upcoming memoir The Woman Inside Me: “I was in a coma in Louisiana and he was happily running around Hollywood.”
They also report that the former child star called out the media for portraying her as a ‘whore who broke the heart of America’s golden boy’ following the release of Justin’s Cry Me A River music video.
However, this comes after Britney finally admitted to cheating on the NSINC member with dancer Wade Robson after years of rumours.

The pop star, 41, gets candid about her private life in the pages of her new memoir The Woman in Me, which will be published on October 24.
Britney and Justin were rumored to have split in 2002 after three years of dating because she was in a relationship with Australian choreographer Wade.
Justin later released his famous single Cry Me A River which includes lyrics that allude to cheating.
According to The US SunBritney confirms in her memoir that she kissed Wade during a night out.
She wrote: “One night we were out and we went to a Spanish bar. We played and danced. I hung out with him that night.’
Britney also writes that she has been loyal to Justin for years “with that one exception.”
The star revealed that she told Justin about her kiss with Wade and they were able to move past it and stay together.
In 2001, Wade choreographed her iconic music videos Oops… I Did It Again and I’m A Slave 4 U, as well as her live Las Vegas special.

Britney said of the choreographer on Good Morning America in 2000: “He’s like a child prodigy, seriously… He’s a genius.” He’s amazing.’
However, their relationship was short-lived and Britney and Wade broke up within a year.
Wade largely stayed out of the spotlight after that, but resurfaced in the 2019 documentary Leaving Neverland in which he detailed the alleged abuse he suffered as a child at the hands of Michael Jackson.
It comes after Britney revealed she had an abortion during her relationship with Justin when she was just 19.

The star claimed that although she wanted a baby and ‘dreamed of having a family’ with Justin, who was also 19 at the time, he was ‘not ready’ for the responsibilities of parenthood and thought the couple were too young.
She writes in the passage he came up with People: “It was a surprise, but it wasn’t a tragedy for me.” I loved Justin so much. I always expected that one day we would have a family together. This would be much sooner than I expected.
“He said that we are not ready to have a baby in our lives, that we are too young.” I’m sure people will hate me for this, but I’ve agreed not to have a baby.
“I don’t know if it was the right decision.” If it was up to me, I would never have done it. And yet Justin was so sure he didn’t want to be a father.
The star said in her memoirs that the abortion was “one of the most painful things I’ve ever experienced in my life.”
