The insider insisted that Britney is currently “in a really good place” and claimed that she would “like to continue to maintain her relationship with her mother.”
But the Princess Of Pop apparently also hopes to “take her time” for the healing process and “doesn't feel like it has to be rushed.”
The source added: “Britney understands that her mother would have loved to visit her at Christmas, but she felt it was just too early.”

Although their relations appear to have cooled since then, Britney still targeted Lynne in the memoir, saying Lynne was party to the dolls' disposal.
“I'm not sure who told you I got rid of your dolls and diaries, but I would never do that!” Lynne replied on her Instagram page on Thursday.
“That would be cruel, because I know how much they mean to you. They are also special to me because of the years we spent collecting them. Of course I still have your stuff, and if you want, I'll be happy to send it to you. Please let me know and know how much I love you!”
Shortly afterwards, Britney gave a striking response to her mother's plea in a postscript to an Instagram post about Taylor Swift.
