Britney Spears takes solo drive in LA as she emerges for first time since 911 drama at Chateau Marmont sparked fresh fears for her mental health

Britney Spears was back on the road Monday after injuring herself during a whirlwind night at the iconic Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.

The 42-year-old pop superstar was spotted behind the wheel of her white Mercedes as she drove through her city of Thousand Oaks, northwest of LA.

Britney had her fans worried after injuring her ankle during her night out on the town.

Sources told DailyMail.com that she was doing cartwheels outside her hotel room.

She was in the company of her alleged boyfriend Paul Soliz, and the source said both appeared significantly intoxicated and that bar staff had refused them additional drinks.

Paramedics were called to care for Spears at Chateau Marmont

“One thing was certain: they certainly didn’t need alcohol anymore,” the source says.

Britney seemed cheerful and she flashed a soft smile as she sat behind the wheel.

This time she did not appear to be in any distress, compared to her confused state when she left the Chateau Marmont while wrapped in her underwear and a blanket, with a pillow on her chest.

For her drive, she wore her blonde hair down, framing her modestly made-up face.

Although many people take it for granted to be able to drive, it is a symbol of freedom for the Toxic singer, as she was not allowed to get behind the wheel during her thirteen-year conservatorship.

Since the arrangement finally ended, Britney has been able to get some fresh air at her leisure, and driving offers her some rare alone time.

Her journey also suggested that her injury did not stop her from riding.

She sparked concern among her fans earlier on Monday when she said on Instagram that she “might have to have surgery” on her ankle.

Britney’s late-night outing with Paul Soliz comes after the mother of five of his nine children called him a “freaking out dad.”

She claimed to DailyMail.com that he had not paid child support for any of his nine children.

Soliz was linked to Spears when he worked as her cleaning lady and handyman, although the two later reportedly became romantically linked.

Soliz’s ex, 36-year-old Nicole Mancilla, told DailyMail.com that he cheated on her with the pop star, and she claimed that even though he has reportedly not paid child support for his nine children, he is still trying to see her occasionally at her mother’s house in Sylmar.
