Tri Star Sports & Entertainment Group, the celebrity management company previously under fire for its alleged involvement in the Britney Spears conservatorship battle, has a connection to the Sean “Diddy” Combs saga. THR has revealed.
The founder of the company, The president and CEO is none other than Spears’ former business manager, Lou M. Taylor, whom she accuses of playing a key role in implementing the conservatorship in 2008.
Taylor also managed Combs, whom she proudly named among her A-list clients in a 2019 interview.
Taylor revealed that her working relationship with Combs dates back to the early ’90s. It is unclear whether Combs is still represented by Tri Star.
Spears has previously criticized Robin Greenhill, president of Tri Star Services, who was recently named in a civil lawsuit against Diddy by producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones.

A shocking 2021 report by The New York Times alleged that Greenhill controlled Spears’ credit cards and medications and that Tri Star allegedly used Spears’ own money to hire a security team to keep an eye on her during her conservatorship.
Spears called Greenhill Taylor’s “weird lackey” in her 2023 memoir and accused the pair, along with her own father Jamie Spears, of “bullying” her.
It was also reported earlier by The Los Angeles Times that Spears’ legal team was investigating the alleged $18 million Tri Star received from her estate during the trusteeship, which was terminated by a judge in November 2021 after 13 years.
Tri Star, Taylor and Greenhill have all denied the allegations, maintaining that Spears’ guardianship was instituted “on the recommendation of an attorney, not Tri Star, and was approved by the court for a period of more than 12 years.”
Greenhill’s name appeared in the press again this year after Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones filed a $30 million lawsuit against Diddy, whom he accused of groping and possible drug-induced rape.
The lawsuit was filed just weeks before federal agents raided two of Combs’ homes as part of an investigation into sex trafficking and mounting sexual abuse lawsuits.
In the court document, Jones claims he was instructed to recruit prostitutes and have sex with them for the star’s pleasure, and he has hundreds of hours of video footage showing Combs’ “serious illegal activities.”
He then accused Greenhill of being one of the individuals who enabled Diddy’s alleged misconduct, according to THR.
‘Robin Greenhill, the accountant, [who] would arrange for the wire transfers, money transfers and cash payments to sex workers,” he alleged in the court document.
Combs denied all allegations of wrongdoing and filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit in August, calling the case “tasteless” and an attempt to “exploit” the star for money.
A few weeks later, Combs was arrested on suspicion of sex trafficking and is currently awaiting trial at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York City.
Tri Star was not named in the Sept. 17 lawsuit against the disgraced rapper.

Combs is accused of organizing “Freak Offs,” which are described as “elaborate and produced sex performances” that Combs organized and directed while masturbating and often recorded.
His indictment alleged that some of the “Freak Offs” lasted for days and that Combs and his victims had to be given intravenous fluids to recover from the exertion and drug use.
He has pleaded not guilty to charges of human trafficking, extortion and transportation of persons for the purpose of prostitution.
On Wednesday, Combs’ attorney Marc Agnifilio responded to claims by federal agents that they seized “1,000 bottles” of baby oil and lubricant from Combs’ homes in Miami and Los Angeles as part of a raid related to an investigation into his alleged sex trafficking empire.
“I don’t think it was 1,000. I think it was a lot. I mean, there’s a Costco around the corner. I think Americans buy in bulk, as we know,” Agnifilo told The New York Post.
“And you know, these are consenting adults doing what consenting adults do. We can’t be so puritanical in this country and think that sex is somehow a bad thing, because if it was, there wouldn’t be any people.”
The attorney visited Combs, 54, at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where he is being held awaiting trial.

Combs’ arrest came 10 months after the music mogul was accused of sexual and other abuse, and prosecutors announced he was being investigated for human trafficking.
The allegations began with a lawsuit from Combs’ ex Cassie Ventura, who alleged she was beaten and raped by the star.
The lawsuit was settled the day after it became public, but Combs has since been dogged by other claims.
The charges against him also allege that he coerced and abused women for years. He is also said to have used blackmail and shocking acts of violence to keep his victims in line.
It indirectly refers to an attack on his former girlfriend Cassie, which was captured on video.
Prosecutors wanted him jailed. His lawyers had proposed that he be released on $50 million bail and sent home with electronic monitoring. U.S. Magistrate Judge Robyn Tarnofsky sided with the government.
Like many older hip-hop figures, Bad Boy Records founder Combs had a more moderate image.
The father of seven was a respected businessman whose annual “White Party” in the Hamptons was once a must-have for the jet-set elite.
However, prosecutors say he facilitated his crimes using the same companies, people and methods that put him in power.

They said they would support the charges with financial records, travel records, electronic communications and videos of the “Freak Offs.”
In March, authorities raided Combs’ homes in Los Angeles and Florida, seizing drugs, videos and more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant, prosecutors said.
They said officers also seized weapons and ammunition, including three AR-15s with defaced serial numbers.
A conviction on all charges would carry a mandatory 15-year prison sentence, with the possibility of life in prison.
