Britney Spears’ son Sean Preston has developed a close friendship with Gary Numan’s daughter Echo.
The 18-year-old, who doesn’t talk to his pop star mother, has bonded with 16-year-old Echo because he has famous parents.
A source told the Mirror: “Sean and Echo really relate to each other as they grew up with famous parents, so that connected them in a way that not many other people could understand.
“Both Sean and Echo are avid artists and have been a huge encouragement to each other.”
The insider continued, “Obviously distance is an issue, but they are always connected on their phones.”

It comes after the Toxic singer shared adorable throwback snaps of her two sons, who she has been estranged from for years.
In the photos, Britney appears cheerful as she lies between the two young boys.
In the other two photos, the ‘Break the Ice’ hitmaker hugs Sean and Jayden as they make hilarious faces at the camera.
The social media share could be a sign that Britney and her sons are working to repair their relationship, having been embroiled in a public feud for years.
The singer didn’t get a chance to say goodbye when Kevin, who has sole custody, the boys, and his wife Victoria Prince, moved to Hawaii earlier this year.
Both Sean and Jayden also skipped their mother’s wedding to Sam Asghari in June 2022. The couple has since separated.
The two teenagers said in an interview with documentary maker Daphne Barak for ITV that it is not a “good time to go”.

“At the time it just wasn’t a good time to go,” Jayden explained.
“I’m not saying I’m not happy for her, I’m really happy for them, but she didn’t invite the whole family and if it was just me and Preston then I just wouldn’t. look how that situation would have ended on good terms.”
Britney had publicly fought with Kevin after he criticized her parenting in an interview, claiming that Sean and Jayden had decided not to see their mother at the moment.
Britney responded on Instagram, writing, “It saddens me to hear that my ex-husband has decided to discuss the relationship between me and my children… As we all know, raising teenage boys is not easy for anyone.”
Kevin also claimed that Britney’s provocative selfies on social media were a big part of the problem, calling it “tough” for the boys, especially as they are of high school age.
Britney referenced those comments by adding, “It concerns me that the reason is based on my Instagram. Instagram took a LONG time.”

In the Barak interview, Jayden emphasized that there was “no hatred” between the boys and their mother, but admitted that “it will take a lot of time and effort to repair their broken relationship.”
The teen added: “I 100% think this can be resolved. It will just take a lot of time and effort.
“I just want her to get better mentally. When she gets better, I really want to see her again.’
