Britney Spears shows off her fit figure in a floral cropped top and micro shorts as she flaunts her moves in latest dance video

Britney Spears showed off her fit body in a stylish outfit and showed off her dancing skills in a new Instagram video uploaded on Saturday.

The 42-year-old Baby One More Time singer, who recently claimed the ‘last time she danced’ was during her bizarre knife clip, was seen dancing to music in what appeared to be a spacious studio.

The star wore a colorful floral crop top, as well as a pair of black micro shorts and black heeled boots.

Her blonde locks were pulled back into a simple ponytail, allowing her side bangs to fall gently onto her forehead.

Spears opted not to add any flashy jewelry to her look, but still showed off her dance moves to her 42.2 million followers.

The song Mi Gente by J Balvin and Willy William played in the background throughout the film reel.

In the caption of the post, the Toxic singer simply added an assortment of pink flower emojis for her fans.

Britney’s latest video arrived just two days after she uploaded a previous dance video in which she claimed she hadn’t danced since her bizarre clip with the knives.

Last September, the pop star notably shared a video on Instagram as she grooved to a tune with knives in her hands.

The post sparked concern among fans and the artist soon received a welfare check from police – which Spears later called a “prank” for dancing with “fake” knives.

In Thursday’s role, she also danced to Mi Gente while wearing a plunging black cropped top, as well as matching shorts and vibrant red boots.

Britney wrote in the caption, “I haven’t danced in so long… the last time I danced I danced with knives… people tell me not to post those!!!”

‘It’s been 9 months since I danced, but last night I did it… It wasn’t that good, but I did it!!!’

Her recent videos were also taken less than two weeks ago, after her ex, Justin Timberlake, was arrested in the Hamptons for drunk driving.

The former couple notably began dating in 1999, but split a few years later in 2002. She mentioned the Mirrors hitmaker in her memoir, The Woman In Me.

In the book, which was released in October 2023, Spears accused Timberlake of cheating on her. He also revealed that she had an abortion with Justin at the age of 19.

She was also seen for the first time since his arrest when she returned to California after having a great time on a getaway to Cabo.

The star was spotted arriving at Van Nuys Airport in a figure-hugging, coral minidress with a hem that reached a few inches above her knees.

Spears wore a sun hat on her head and also wore a white sweater and a stylish bag over her left arm.

Earlier this month, a source told DailyMail.com that Britney has finally reconciled with her estranged sons, Sean Preston and Jayden Federline, adding that the trio are “completely back on track.”

‘Britney has been talking to Sean Preston and Jayden for months and working on their relationship.’

The insider said: ‘The boys have so much love for their mother, as she does for them. Things are back in order and they are looking forward to the future together.’

A second source also told DailyMail.com that Britney’s older brother, Bryan, had helped facilitate the reconciliation. “Bryan played a major role in facilitating their reunion. He cares so much about Britney and his nephews.”

“She wanted to keep this quiet because she didn’t want it to jeopardize their chances of reconciliation, but she’s actually been their mother again since February.”

The insider explained that Spears has already flown to Hawaii to visit her teenage sons. Last year they moved to the state with their father Kevin Federline, his wife of 10 years Victoria Prince, and their two daughters.

The singer and Kevin married in 2004, but their divorce was not finalized until three years later, in 2007.

Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, also said Entertainment tonight in a statement: “Reconciliation and rebuilding relationships are difficult and take time.”

‘These are sometimes complicated and always lengthy processes. The process hasn’t really started yet, let alone [been] completed.’

“The great thing is that the boys saw that their mother was doing well and they wanted to talk to her,” the lawyer added.

“There has been telephone contact between Britney and her sons, and we believe this is a step in the right direction.”
