Britney Spears and will.i.am sharply divided their fans with the Tuesday release of their latest single Mind Your Business.
The issue dropped on Friday with an apparent leak on Thursday and fans have already flocked to social media to share their wildly polarized opinions.
For some, the song was ‘terrible’ and a ‘flop’, but there were fans of 41-year-old Britney who defended the new song.
‘I’m sorry, I love it. It’s quite camp,” one listener wrote on Twitter, while another stated bluntly, “Oh, it’s unbelievably bad.”
One viewer commented, “So I finally listened to #MINDyourBUSINESS from @iamwill and @britneyspears and I don’t know what to think, some parts I really like, others I don’t. What do you think about it?’

“Let’s be honest,” one Twitter user wrote, “if @britneyspears doesn’t care about posting about the new song, promoting it or doing anything with it, then what’s the point of listening? So the label can continue to make money off her, I don’t think so. Hello Girl.’
‘Who actually sings live here? Deff not Britney,” another wrote, while a third wailed, “Crying I thought it would have been good.”
However, others gushed about the song, with one bellowing, “On repeat baby!” another applauding “that ending,” and a third blaring that “she’s calling out the world for all the talk about her!! Where is she? There she goes! What she does? Really calling out all speculation!! And of course the paps!! Ugh really, she is iconic!!! @britneyspears is BACK!’
