In the extract he came up with Time magazinethe pop star recalled going with him to a wedding chapel in Las Vegas during a New Year’s trip there and getting married.
The mum-of-two, 42, said she and her friends were partying in Vegas – with pal Paris Hilton also with them – and got really drunk.
‘He and I fucked each other. I don’t remember that night at all, but from what I gather, he and I were lounging around the hotel room and staying up late watching movies – The Mona Lisa Smile and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre – then we had the brilliant idea to go to Mala white chapel at three thirty in the morning.’
The star emphasized in the book that she did not love him, but that she was just “drunk” and “bored”.
Her memoir The Woman In Me, released on October 24, also details how she “got out of my mind” after her devastating split from Justin Timberlake, the death of her aunt and losing custody of her children to Kevin.
She also revealed she had an abortion aged 19 with ex Justin after falling pregnant at 19 – claiming he made the ‘painful’ decision because he wasn’t ‘ready to be a father’.

Britney and Jason were 22 years ago during a shotgun wedding.
Britney wrote: “People have asked me if I love him. Let’s be clear: he and I were not in love.’
“Honestly, I was just very drunk – and probably, generally speaking, at that time in my life, I was very boring,” she said.

The marriage – which took place on January 3, 2004 in the Little White Wedding Chapel, was annulled three days later (55 hours later) on Monday, January 5, 2004.

Adding: “Everyone has a different perspective on it, but I didn’t take it that seriously. I thought a Vegas wedding was something people could do as a joke.’
“Then my family came and acted like I started World War III.” I cried the whole time I was in Las Vegas – said the star.
Britney added that her family was “so against the wedding” that she “started to think I might have accidentally committed an act of brilliance”.
“Because I realized: something about me being under their control and not having a stronger relationship with someone else became very, very important to them… Maybe it’s worth noting that I’ve been supporting them financially up until now,” she wrote.
In 2008 – four years after her Vegas wedding – Britney was placed on probation for 14 years – until a judge ends it in 2021.
In 2022, Jason tried to crash Britney’s wedding to Sam Asghari while streaming his attempt live on Instagram.
He was convicted of battery and aggravated assault over the incident – which happened almost twenty years after their wedding.
