Britney Spears took to her Instagram page and revealed to her 41.7 million fans and followers that she has nerve damage on the right side of her body.
The 40-year-old superstar’s medical condition is a result of time spent in a medical facility where she was placed against her will in 2019.
She talked about the health issues she had while sharing a video on Instagram in which she revealed that there is “no cure” for the nerve damage, which causes pain and numbness.
Despite this, she has found that dancing helps relieve some symptoms.

“I’m dancing Victoria on time now…yes…nerve damage on the right side of my body…there is no cure except God, I guess,” she began in the caption, without explaining who exactly Victoria is.
She continued: “nerve damage is sometimes caused when you don’t get enough oxygen to your brain…your brain literally shuts down…blah blah old story…that place i wasn’t breathing when i was there…nerve damage caused parts of your body to become numb.’
Spears revealed that she wakes up “like three times a week in bed with my hands completely numb” and feelings of “pins and needles” on the right side of her body.
“It shoots up to my neck and the part that hurts the worst is my temple on my head…it stings and it’s scary,” she explained, adding how “the last 3 years since I got out of that place I’ve come where I’ve been a slight unconsciousness… I couldn’t take it.’

“It was like it was too scary to be here … although my instagram is not in line with most … hey hey hey it gave me existence and brought me here,” she continued, before she shared that she “don’t feel the pain when I dance.”
“It’s like my mind is literally going to a place of my inner child. And even though I don’t move like I used to…I do believe that my faith in it has given me strength…by the grace of God I’ve finally found a medicine where I can really feel oxygen going to my brain and through my neck” , she wrote .
She went on to say that her health problems have gotten “a lot better” lately.
“My eyes are now more open and I can hold my head up the right way…I did a good job getting it done. Anyway, I’m getting a lot better, I can breathe…I feel smarter ’cause well, Jesus, I can breathe now…anyway, I’m breathing now and I can dance in time, Victoria…I’m sending all my love to all of you single … this is me this morning … I’m going to vacuum now !!!’ she finished the post.
