Britney Spears reunites with son Jayden, 18, as she celebrates the ‘best Christmas’

Britney Spears reunited with her youngest son, Jayden, over the Christmas holidays, and the star shared an Instagram video on Wednesday to commemorate the big moment.

The Baby One More Time singer, 43 – who recently returned from an extended getaway to Mexico for her birthday – filmed herself with the 18-year-old as they spent time together.

The star notably shares Jayden and Sean Preston, 19, with ex-husband Kevin Federline. Her sons moved to Hawaii with their father last year, but Spears has reportedly “focused” on rebuilding her bond with her children.

In the clip, both Britney and Jayden were seen outside what appeared to be a restaurant.

The pair stood side by side as they looked at the camera, and at one point the singer planted a kiss on Jayden’s head.

The reel then cut to Spears and her son sitting at a table in the busy eatery as they stayed warm by a roaring fireplace.

Placing the phone camera on the table, Jayden said a light-hearted “Hello,” followed by the two wishing her fans a “Merry Christmas.”

In the caption of the post, Britney expressed her gratitude and excitement that she had the opportunity to be with her boys over the holidays.

She wrote to her 42 million followers: ‘Best Christmas of my life!!! I haven’t seen my boys in two years!!!’

‘Tears of joy and literally in shock every day koo koo crazy so in love and blessed!!! I’m speechless, thank you Jesus!!!’

Britney and her youngest child apparently had a great vacation, although her other son did not appear in the clip.

The reunion comes shortly after a source informed Page six earlier this month, the Toxic hitmaker revealed she wants to ‘rebuild’ her bond with Jayden and Sean Preston.

“She and her sons are really focusing on rebuilding their bond,” the insider said, adding that they are on track to being “super close” again. “These things are a process in any family dynamic.”

Last month in November, a separate source revealed this Page six that Spears reunited with Jayden after years of estrangement.

The insider said at the time: “They’ve been spending a lot of time together.” However, Sean Preston was still in Hawaii at the time of the reunion.

‘Britney is very happy to have her baby back. Everything is moving in the right direction,” the source said.

Jayden reportedly contacted his mother and an insider spilled the beans We weekly that he “spends time in California, but doesn’t live with Britney.”

A few months earlier, in September, Britney wrote a sweet birthday tribute to her sons, along with throwback photos.

The singer wrote: ‘It’s my boys birthday this month!!! Congratulations darlings and I hope you get all your wishes and more!!!’

Also last month, the pop star made her final child support payment to ex Kevin Federline after Jayden’s 18th birthday.

The star has also become close with her mother Lynne and brother Bryan Spears following their estrangement. But she has yet to repair her relationship with her father and sister, Jamie Lynn Spears.

Earlier this month, Britney spent time with her older brother as he joined her in Mexico during her relaxing vacation.

Last August, the pop star and her older sibling seemingly put their differences aside following her divorce from Sam Asghari.

At the time, he had moved to her mansion to be by her side during the divorce, a source said Page six“He’s staying and helping her with a therapist.”

Earlier this year in May, Bryan appeared on her Instagram page as the couple enjoyed a trip to Las Vegas.

She had shared several clips on social media that captured special memories from the trip, including a visit to a luxury spa.

Just weeks earlier, the Baby One More Time singer had sparked mental health concerns at the Chateau Marmont when she was spotted being escorted out of the iconic hotel by emergency services.

In June, both the singer and her brother Bryan spent time at a bar in Mexico and a month later he moved back into her mansion.

At the time, she was separated from boyfriend and former housekeeper Paul Soliz, but a source said so TMZ that he had moved in simply because it made sense to stay under one roof since he spent a lot of time together.

On December 2, Britney celebrated her 43rd birthday – and was also declared legal after her divorce from Sam Asghari was finalized seven months earlier.

She kept her followers updated throughout the trip by sharing several posts on Instagram, including posing in a hot pink bikini as she lounged in the sun.

The performer deleted one of her recent dance videos that was filmed over the holidays because people were saying “mean things.”

Just days before Christmas, Spears was spotted returning to Los Angeles after the three-week birthday getaway.

After landing at an airport, the singer was seen walking out while cradling a stuffed bunny.
