Britney Spears packs on the PDA with husband Sam Asghari in Cabo just WEEKS before shock split – after he accused her of cheating on him

Britney Spears and her husband Sam Asghari were spotted on the PDA on a hunting trip in Cabo just weeks before they split.

The singer wore a fuchsia pink bikini while enjoying a break with the actor in Mexico in June, without signaling that their marriage was about to crumble.

Sam filed for divorce on Wednesday amid claims he had moved out of their home following a “huge argument” over rumors she had been unfaithful.

In what was their last sighting together before news of the split, Britney and Sam seemed much happier relaxing together on the yacht.

The pair enjoyed a sweet embrace as they kicked back on the yacht with a group of friends, after donning a pink sweatshirt to board the yacht.

Britney has yet to comment on the divorce news, but she broke her silence by sharing a bizarre Instagram post in which she promised to buy a horse “soon”.

Asghari officially filed for divorce on Wednesday, citing “irreconcilable differences” and July 28, 2023 as the date of divorce, as first reported by TMZ.

It comes hours after Britney was photographed without her wedding ring after it was revealed that she and Sam had split after a year of marriage.

According to court documents, Asghari is asking the multimillionaire for spousal support and to cover his attorney fees.

Regarding their finances, Asghari’s lawyer Neal Hersh said things are yet to be determined – despite the couple having a “ironclad” prenuptial agreement protecting the singer’s pre-marital assets.

“(Sam) has yet to determine the full nature and extent of each party’s separate property and liabilities,” Hersh wrote.

“There are several items of community and quasi-community assets and liabilities, the full nature and extent of which are unknown to (Sam) at this time.”

A source told the outlet that the prenuptial agreement is unlikely to be thrown out and it’s more likely that “Britney will write a check to Sam and then it will be the end of it.”

Page six reported that Britney has hired celebrity divorce attorney Laura Wasser — who boasts A-list clients like Kim Kardashian, Kevin Costner, and Johnny Depp.

But it has been alleged that Asghari is threatening to go “extremely embarrassing” about his spouse if she refuses to renegotiate the terms – something a source close to Spears told DailyMail.com is “absurd.”

She previously enlisted Wasser’s help in 2008 when she fought with her ex-husband Kevin Federline, 45, over custody of their two sons.

The exes – who split in 2006 after two years of marriage – share Jayden James, 16, and Sean Preston, 17.

A judge ordered Spears to pay $20,000 a month in child support — a decision that Wasser said the Piece Of Me hitmaker felt “great.”

Monthly payments reportedly increased to $60,000 in 2018 and Kevin has full custody of the boys.

Wasser is a strong believer in prenuptial agreements regardless of asset status, as she believes that getting married is the “biggest decision of your life.”

Before walking down the aisle, she encourages couples to work out an agreement “on important things like kids, finances, and how you plan to take care of your parents as they get older.”

It was Page six that reported Wednesday that Asghari is “focused” on “attempts to negotiate concessions beyond his prenuptial agreement and threaten to reveal extremely embarrassing information about Britney unless he gets paid.”

But another source told DailyMail.com: “(These allegations) are preposterous and there is no way her attorney, a former federal prosecutor, would ever let anyone blackmail Britney Spears.”

DailyMail.com has reached out to representatives for both Asghari and Spears for comment.

Page six previously revealed that the prenuptial agreement is in Britney’s favor and that “any money she made before the wedding is protected.”

It is unclear if Sam would be able to take some of the money his wife earns while they are married.

Her lawyer Mathew Rosengart played a key role in working out the terms shortly after Asghari proposed to Spears in September 2021.

The superstar has a reported net worth of $60 million.

An insider previously claimed to the New Yorker that Spears previously had a multimillion-dollar fortune in the early 2000s, but that was reduced to just “a few million dollars” when her conservatory was established in 2008.

Under the scheme, the singer was paid a stipend of $2,000 a week, but her father paid himself about $16,000 a month to run the conservatory, and her former attorney Samuel Ingham III received an annual salary of $520,000, according to the outlet.

DailyMail.com confirmed on Wednesday that Asghari and Spears have gone their separate ways after a “nuclear altercation” in which he confronted his wife about rumors that she was being unfaithful. It is unknown if the rumors are true.

Asghari is said to have believed the rumors that Spears was being unfaithful, with the couple having a “huge argument” and Asghari moving out of the house and now living in a place of his own.

The couple got married in June 2022, but have been together since 2016.

A source told TMZwho were the first to report the breakup: “It’s only a matter of time before Sam files for divorce.”

Sam and Britney’s June 2022 wedding was a lavish affair held at the superstar’s Thousand Oaks home.

It was attended by a slew of A-list stars such as Paris Hilton, Madonna, Selena Gomez and Drew Barrymore.

Britney’s estranged family — including her controversial parents Jamie Spears and Lynne Spears — were reportedly not invited.

The marriage came together shortly after the couple endured a heartbreaking miscarriage with their first child.

The singer first announced she was expecting in April 2022 in a social media post where she said she thought she had a food baby while on vacation, but took a test and it turned out she was pregnant.

A short time later, the couple announced in a joint statement that they had experienced a pregnancy loss.

“It is with our deepest sadness that we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy,” the couple said on Saturday. “This is a terrible time for any parent.

“Maybe we should have waited to announce until we had moved on, but we were too excited to share the good news. Our love for each other is our strength. We will keep trying to expand our beautiful family. We are grateful for all your support. We kindly ask for your privacy at this difficult time.”

The baby news came after months of emotional turmoil for Spears, who was finally released from her conservatory after 13 years and a long-fought battle.

“We are positive about it. It’s something that happens to a lot of people,” Sam told GQ. “And a beautiful thing I heard was that when the baby is ready, it will come.

“So that was a beautiful thing someone had said, it’s a common process and the female body is just so amazing, and the human body in general is so beautiful that it heals itself.” And that when the baby is ready, that’s the right time.’

The budding actor also said he had always wanted to be a “young dad” and that children were the “next step” and called procreation “the joy of life.”

Britney shocked her fans when she testified in June 2021 that her conservatory, which was introduced in 2008, prevented her from getting married or even having another child.

“I want to be able to get married and have a baby,” she said at a conservatory hearing in 2021.

“I was told at the conservatory at this point that I can’t get married or have a baby. I now have an IUD in me, so I won’t get pregnant.”

Spears and her husband first met while working on the Slumber Party music video in 2016.

Since appearing in Britney’s video, the aspiring actor has racked up a number of credits, most recently on the HBO Max series Hacks and Showtime’s Black Monday.

They got engaged in 2021.

The artist was previously married to Jason Alexander in 2004, though their marriage was dissolved within 55 hours.

The singer tied the knot with Kevin Federline in 2004 and they welcomed a couple of boys named Sean and Jayden, aged 17 and 16, during her second marriage, which ended in 2007.
