Britney Spears is ‘shelling out $10,000 a month to pay for Sam Asghari’s new apartment’ – after he missed out on millions in their iron-clad prenup

Britney Spears has reportedly been forced to spend $10,000 a month on her estranged husband Sam Asghari’s new apartment.

The singer, 41, split from the actor, 29, earlier this month after just a year of marriage, with sources claiming he is unlikely to receive much from their marriage due to a rock solid prenuptial agreement.

It is now alleged that despite his decision to file for divorce, Britney is footing the bill for Sam’s new apartment, one of the most luxurious new buildings in LA.

A standard unit in the building costs $10,000 per month, but according to TMZSam got a better deal.

Britney’s team is thought to have suggested the gesture during their divorce proceedings. MailOnline has reached out to representatives for Sam Asghari and Britney Spears for comment.

Claims: Britney Spears has been forced to spend $10,000 a month on her estranged husband Sam Asghari’s new apartment, according to reports

Sam is reportedly missing out on money in the event of a divorce, as he and Britney were only married for fourteen months, and their ironclad prenuptial agreement stated that he would get $1 million for every two years they were married.

However, sources have said that before TMZ that while the prenuptial agreement prevents Sam from receiving spousal support, he could receive a one-time check from Britney to avoid sharing “embarrassing information” about their marriage.

The prenup is thought to contain an “expanded confidentiality clause” that prohibits Sam from discussing his relationship with Britney.

Sam reportedly intended to challenge the prenup by filing for spousal support and attorney’s fees, although he has denied this.

He also allegedly relinquished all claims to Britney’s music collection, and his name is not on the deeds of their shared home in Thousand Oaks, California.

The couple spent $11.8 million on the estate, though much of that came from Britney’s fortune.

According to the prenup, Britney and Sam agreed to turn the house into a limited liability company or LLC in the event of a divorce.

It is rumored that Britney and Sam’s lawyers will negotiate, and it is likely that the singer will write a one-time check for several hundred thousand dollars to keep the confidentiality clause alive.

Not much! The singer divorced the actor earlier this month after just a year of marriage, with sources claiming their ironclad prenup is holding him back from receiving much.

If Sam violated the agreement, he would have to return the money.

Sam has denied claims he intends to challenge his $10 million prenuptial agreement with Britney.

So told his representative Brandon Cohen THR“There are many allegations that Sam is challenging the prenuptial agreement and threatening to exploit his ex-wife with videos.

“However, all these claims are false, and no negative intent has ever been directed at her and never will be. Sam has always supported her and will always support her.”

Sam broke his silence on the divorce last Friday by sharing an emotional statement on his Instagram.

“After six years of love and commitment to each other, my wife and I have decided to end our journey together,” the handsome actor wrote.

He continued, “We will hold on to the love and respect we have for each other and I always wish her well,” adding, “S**t happens.”

That same day, Britney also spoke for the first time by admitting she was “shocked” by the breakup, but said she “just couldn’t take the pain anymore.”

She continued, “In a kind of telepathic way I have received so many messages from friends that melt my heart and I thank you!!!”

“I’ve been playing it strong for far too long and my Instagram may seem perfect but it’s far from reality and I think we all know that!!!”

Britney has reassured her fans that she’s “actually doing pretty well,” despite reports that she and Sam are “no longer talking to each other.”

It was reported on Tuesday that the estranged spouses had agreed on custody of their dogs.

DailyMail.com had exclusively revealed that the singer feared Sam would try to seize the property of their two dogs.

But a source told TMZ on Tuesday that the couple have mutually agreed to separate their adopted four-legged friends.

Sam cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the estranged couple’s divorce and has asked Spears to pay spousal support and his lawyers’ fees.

There are already reports that Sam believed Britney was cheating on him, which sources say sparked a so-called “nuclear” altercation in late July.

There are also claims that Sam has told friends that the singer was violent towards him and would behave so “erratically” that she allegedly threw knives at the wall of the LA mansion where they got married in 2022.

The “Lucky” singer is said to live with her older sibling Bryan, who she became close to during her long-running struggle to free herself from her family’s controversial conservatorship.
