Britney Spears is finally getting along better with her ex Sam Asghari as they move closer to a divorce settlement

Britney Spears seems to be in a better place when it comes to her interactions with her estranged husband Sam Asghari.

The 41-year-old pop superstar is now in a more ‘cordial’ relationship with her 29-year-old ex, sources with direct knowledge said TMZ.

Part of their easier interactions may be due to the fact that Sam — who was spotted at an LA Lakers game this week — feels like he’s being taken care of well enough.

According to the insiders, the aspiring actor still lives in a high-rise apartment in Los Angeles, which Britney is reportedly financing for around $10,000 a month.

The couple is nearing finalizing a settlement for their divorce, which will reportedly result in a significant settlement for Sam.

The settlement is expected to be in the low six figures, the sources said.

Britney has hired prominent divorce attorney Laura Wasserman to handle her side of the divorce settlement.

In the early stages of negotiations, both exes would no longer speak to each other, but instead communicated exclusively through their lawyers.

Originally, Sam planned to challenge the prenuptial agreement he and Britney signed, despite Wasserman being famous for her rock-solid prenuptial agreement.

The Black Monday actor is said to be considering speaking out about his experiences during his marriage to the Toxic singer, although the current state of negotiations appears to have softened him.

The two filed for divorce in August, citing irreconcilable differences.

While they aren’t at each other’s throats now, it’s unclear how much communication is happening between Britney and Sam, or how much support he can be to her in the future.

After cutting off contact early in their divorce process, sources close to Britney worried that it could have a detrimental effect on her mental health, as she had cut off most of her family members and Sam had previously been her biggest support.

Earlier this week, Britney shocked her fans when she posted a photo of a shirtless mystery man.

However, the half-dressed hunk turned out to be her manager Cade Hudson, who has also been one of her best friends for over a decade.

Even as the hitmaker prepares to end her time in court with her ex, she recently had to take care of other legal matters after breaking news about a series of traffic violations.

The Stronger singer paid more than $700 to secure an October ticket. That fee included a $332 fine for crossing double yellow lines, as well as $400 for a traffic school course, which would prevent her from receiving a point on her insurance, which she said would likely increase her rates. TMZ.
