The source told the outlet they were “worried” about the developing relationship between Soliz and Spears – who has just split from 29-year-old Asghari, after 14 months of marriage.

The lead singer of The Oops!… I Did It Again was seen driving a white Mercedes-Benz with a mystery man in Calabasas, California, on Wednesday, while a man in her passenger seat wore a San Francisco Giants baseball cap.

Soliz and the Toxic artist first crossed paths “about a year ago,” a source told the outlet, noting that Soliz was hired to work at her Thousand Oaks, California, home to “clean toilets, mopping floors and picking up rubbish.

Insiders told Page Six that Soliz was fired from Spears, but she “still chooses to spend time with him and isn’t trying to hide their new-found friendship.”

The insider told the outlet that Spears’ camp did not proceed with a background check on the hiring of Soliz, who has run afoul of the law on multiple occasions.

According to legal records reviewed by the outlet, Soliz was convicted of felony gun possession last December, during a time he worked for the singer.

Soliz was convicted in 2016 of driving without a license, the newspaper reported, citing court documents. According to Page Six, a charge of driving with a suspended license was dismissed that year after a settlement.

The newspaper reported, citing court documents, that Soliz had been convicted in April 2014 of disturbing the peace; and entered a plea deal to dismiss the child endangerment charge.

Spears has been isolated from friends and family for the past few months as she is still in “a lot of pain” from past issues, including the conservatory she lived under for 13 years under her father Jamie Spears.

The main people she relies on include her manager, the legal team and her older brother Bryan Spears, who “stays with her and works with her along with a therapist,” a source told Page Six.

Asghari filed for divorce from Spears on August 16. In a statement posted to his Instagram account last week, he wrote, “After six years of love and commitment to each other, my wife and I have decided to end our journey together.”

He continued, “We will hold on to the love and respect we have for each other and I always wish her well,” adding, “S**t happens.”

He concluded his statement by saying, “It seems ridiculous to ask for privacy, so I ask everyone, including the media, to be kind and considerate.”
