Toxic is one of Britney Spears’ biggest hits, but fans are shocked after going undercover that it could be about a British TV star.
The singer, 41, released the single in 2003, with lyrics describing a lover as dangerous and addictive.
But fans have discovered that the unlikely source of inspiration behind the song Supervet Dr. Could be Noel Fitzpatrick.
The song was co-written by Cathy Dennis, who wrote the song the same year she split from Noel, 55.
“The man who inspired Britney Spears’ song Toxic was someone the song’s co-writer, Cathy Dennis, dated in the early 2000s, who broke up with her in 2003: Noel Fitzpatrick,” Pop wrote. B*tch.

Noel and Cathy reportedly met when she brought her beloved Labrador Charlie to his veterinary surgery.
He was previously grilled by Holly Willoughby on This Morning when he was the man behind the lyrics; “I need a slap, baby, give me that.” You’re dangerous, I love it.’
Holly asked him after seeing a collection of his CDs in the video link, “Are you who that song was written about?” Is it you? Please say yes’.
Noel replied, “Maybe you should ask Kylie Minogue if ‘I Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’ was written about me.”
Phillip Schofield quipped, “Obviously you have influence.”
Kylie had turned down Toxic before it was offered to Britney.
Fans took to Twitter to share their surprise.

His veterinary practice includes two hospitals specializing in orthopaedics and neurosurgery and oncology and soft tissue surgery in Surrey.
