Britney Spears declares she’s ‘married’ again in bizarre post one year after her divorce
Britney Spears stunned fans by declaring she was ‘marrying’ herself as she posed in a wedding dress and veil, a year after her divorce from Sam Asghari.
The 42-year-old pop superstar posted to her Instagram on Sunday a video of her in a white silk wedding dress and a matching lace veil.
However, instead of marrying a groom, the Toxic hitmaker surprised fans by announcing that she has married herself.
‘The day I got married myself… Bringing it back because it may seem embarrassing or stupid, but I think it’s the most brilliant thing I’ve ever done!!!’ she wrote in the caption.
The singer posed for the camera in the bridal white look and straightened her veil.

The mother of two was given a dainty gold chain and wore her signature black eyeliner for the special occasion.
The clip was set to ‘Fields of Gold’ by Sting.
She also posted a photo of an empty church with no caption.
She followed up the video with a poolside clip of herself in a yellow bikini as she enjoyed a day in the sun.

Asghari filed for divorce from Spears in August last year after fourteen months of marriage.
The divorce was officially finalized in May when the couple reached a settlement.
Meanwhile, Asghari has fueled dating rumors after he was spotted with a blonde woman in a Los Angeles park in September.
