Britney Spears has shared a throwback video from a trip to Mexico last year, revealing that she was “so happy.”
The hitmaker posted the clip to Instagram on Tuesday night, with images showing Britney with husband Sam Ashjari and friends listening to a mariachi band on the beach.
Britney is seen swaying to the music as she sits on the sand before sharing a few moves with Sam, at one point jumping into his arms and laughing.
“Throwback to Mexico…before I got married…so happy and silly here,” the star captioned the sweet video.

The singer looks relaxed and happy in the clip, wearing a loose white sweater as a dress and walking barefoot on the sand.
Britney and Sam tied the knot in June 2022 in a fairytale-like ceremony at their Thousand Oaks, California home.
Her latest post comes shortly after Britney responded to claims her loved ones staged a botched intervention out of fear she ‘could die’ amid alleged mental health issues.
Spears lashed out at the claims in an Instagram post, adding that she may have to stop posting on social media:
“It sickens my stomach that it’s even legal for people to make up stories that I almost died…
I mean at some point enough is enough!!! I’ll probably have to stop posting on Instagram because while I enjoy doing it, there are obviously a lot of people who don’t wish me well!
Continuing her defense, Britney added: ‘Honestly, I’m not surprised at all… Again doing my best! Again, conservatorship ended almost a year ago… No folks, it’s not 2007… it’s 2023 and I’m making my first homemade lasagna at home.
I finally got my fireplace working in my living room!!! As my husband says it best: don’t believe everything you read! All that love back to you!!!’
In another Instagram post, Spears criticized the reports once again, denying that she has a “management team” or “doctors.”

Captioning an erratic video message, she wrote: ‘This week on the news they said I almost died and have a manager and ‘doctors’! I don’t have a management team nor will I ever have one again in my life! I don’t have “doctors”!!!’
She declared: ‘I take Prozac for depression and that’s it! I am an extremely boring person!!!’
Last year, Britney made a cameo appearance in Sam Levinson, Reza Fahim and The Weeknd’s six-episode drama The Idol, which premieres this year on HBO.
He also signed a $15 million deal with Simon & Schuster in February 2022 to publish his tell-all memoir, and ‘three different versions’ were finished in July.
