Adorable moment a vixen and her nine cubs play-fight in a woman’s back garden
A British woman has discovered that a family of foxes make themselves at home in her garden after seeing nine cubs prancing and playing together from her window.
Lucia Osborne-Crowley, author and journalist, shared a clip on X, formerly known as Twitter, of a family of baby foxes playing with each other.
In the adorable video, two of the cubs can be seen chasing each other from one yard to another, jumping on each other as they roll around in amusement.
Meanwhile, the cubs’ mother can be seen nibbling on a few others as they wait patiently in line to be washed.
Lucia films from her home and watches from just a few meters away as the family enjoys the day, rolling and frolicking in the grass.

Lucia captioned the video: “In case anyone needs a timeline tidy up, we have nine baby fox cubs in our yard and this is the view from my bed right now.”
In another video, Lucia captioned another video ‘obsessed with them’, while a third admired one of the cubs ‘cute yawn’.
Viewers of the clip were just as excited for Lucia, leaving several heartfelt comments on the video.
One wrote: ‘can you please convert your house into an Airbnb’, while a second commented: ‘I love how safe and relaxing they look, it’s so nice to see.’
Familiar with the view of foxes, a third wrote: ‘Nine! They are so cute. We have four and they are hilarious, even when they wake me up at 3am with their noisy antics.”
Although cute from a distance, the seemingly sweet animals have been known to turn on humans on rare occasions. Last month, a man got a nasty surprise when he approached a ‘friendly’ urban fox.
Daniel Owen, 27, was waiting for the bus with another man in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, at 5.45am on Wednesday when a fox ran towards them.
The fox – known locally as ‘Roxy’ – had initially approached them as they waited at the bus stop and started sniffing before heading towards the man.
The victim – who had his groceries in his hand – thought the fox was just curious before lashing out.
Daniel, who witnessed the incident, says the man wasn’t too concerned and walked away, while the fox fled.

Meanwhile, people in London said urban foxes are taking over the city after several were spotted in places they shouldn’t be.
A video was shared online showing a large adult fox found relaxing in the backseat of a London bus. Fortunately, the animal remained friendly and continued to lie down, relaxing on several chairs.
According to the London Wildlife Trust, there are an estimated 10,000 urban foxes in London.
Another photo shared on social media shows a fox snoozing on someone’s patio furniture while basking in the sun in a comfortable chair.
