A 20-year-old British woman was killed and her two passengers injured when her car went out of control and crashed into a tree in Australia.
The tragedy occurred on the Princes Highway in Winnap, about 30 miles northwest of Portland, Victoria, at around 3:20 p.m. on Sunday, November 19.
The young driver suffered critical injuries and was airlifted to hospital, where she sadly died hours later.
Her two passengers, both 26-year-old men from Britain, were also injured and were immediately taken to hospital for medical attention.
One person was reportedly in a serious but stable condition, while the other suffered minor injuries.
The circumstances leading to the accident remain under investigation and authorities are appealing to the public for any information that could help determine the cause of the accident.

A spokesperson for Ambulance Victoria told local news that paramedics were called to an incident in Winnap at 3.25pm.
“A woman in her 20s was transported to Alfred Hospital in a critical condition with injuries to her upper body,” their statement said.
‘A man in his 20s suffered injuries to his lower body and was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
“Another man in his 20s with lower body injuries was taken by ambulance to Mount Gambier Hospital in a stable condition.”
