British tourist, 29, is raped in Milan spa

A British tourist was allegedly raped at a spa in Milan.
The woman, 29, said she was sexually assaulted by a man with distinctive tattoos, believed to be 25, at the Terme di Milano spa in the center of the Italian city.
The English tourist claimed the man approached her at the spa while she was relaxing with a friend. They reportedly knew each other and had consumed alcohol together.
After inviting her to follow him into the men’s locker room, the suspect became violent and raped her around 10 p.m. on Monday evening, Italian newspaper Il Giorno reported.
She screamed for help and attracted her boyfriend’s attention, causing the man to flee.
The woman, 29, said she was sexually assaulted by a tattooed man, believed to be 25, at the Terme di Milano spa (pictured) in the center of the Italian city, according to local media reports.
Italian Carabinieri police officers are searching for the alleged rapist after the Briton reported the assault after returning to her hotel at around 11pm.
The man is said to be 25 years old, Italian-Moroccan and has several tattoos.
Police said they identified the man by searching surveillance camera footage in the area, but he has reportedly not been arrested.
The spa’s CCTV footage showed the woman following her alleged attacker “unopposed” into the changing room and then into a bathroom, the newspaper said. Corriere Milan.
But the 29-year-old woman told investigators she was “too drunk” to resist and consent to the sex act.
The local prosecutor ordered police to seize the British woman’s clothes for examination after she was taken to hospital to collect evidence immediately after the alleged assault.
The woman is said to have returned to England on Tuesday, a day after the alleged incident at the Terme di Milano.
