British tennis star Katie Boulter has shown off her stunning diamond engagement ring while out for a walk with her new Australian fiancé Alex de Minaur.

The tennis power couple, who have been dating since 2022, appeared to enjoy quality time together in Melbourne on Saturday ahead of the upcoming Australian Open.

Boulter, dressed all in green, happily showed off her huge diamond ring as the couple were pictured taking a morning walk.

The 28-year-old announced on social media last month that she was engaged to her long-term boyfriend and world number 9 De Minaur.

Boulter and De Minaur delighted their fans with an Instagram photo in which the Briton held her left arm around her 25-year-old boyfriend’s neck and revealed she was wearing a beautiful engagement ring on her wedding finger.

They captioned the post: ‘We’ve been keeping a little secret…’

After initially meeting on the professional tennis circuit, they ran into each other while out for coffee at 6am.

It was here that their relationship blossomed and Boulter admitted that it was then that she knew he was the one.

“We met at six in the morning and ended up having coffee. From that moment on I knew I was in it for the long haul,” Boulter had previously told The Age.

Both enjoyed excellent seasons in 2024 on the WTA and ATP Tours, with Boulter winning titles in Nottingham and San Diego.

De Minaur ended his year with a huge win at the Ultimate Tennis Showdown, bouncing back from his disappointing ATP Finals in Turin where he failed to win a match.

And Boulter is certainly in excellent form as he booked Great Britain’s place in the United Cup quarter-finals with victory over Australia’s Olivia Gadecki last week.

Boulter recorded a dominant 6-2 6-1 victory against 97th-ranked Gadecki in Sydney.

The draw pitted newly engaged Boulter against fiance Alex De Minaur, Australia’s number one player, and she said in her on-pitch interview: ‘I’m very happy to start my new year like this.

“I feel like I’ve lost a lot of sleep lately thinking about playing doubles against my fiancée, so I’m so tired and really happy to get through this rubber.

De Minaur said last week he is feeling back to his best after being plagued by a hip injury sustained during his Wimbledon run in July during his breakout 2024 season.

“It’s definitely the best I’ve felt since Wimbledon,” de Minaur said on Saturday.

‘Very happy with how the body moves, how it feels.

“It took a long time, but it now feels in the best shape it’s been in a long, long time.”

The Australian Open starts on January 12.
