British Soap Awards are CANCELLED: ITV make surprise announcement ceremony will not take place next year after Phillip Schofield stepped down from hosting duties
The British Soap Awards have been canceled next year.
ITV has announced that the ceremony, which celebrates the best of British soaps, will not take place in 2024.
The broadcaster has not yet stated why it will not take place in 2024.
An ITV spokesperson said: ‘The British Soap Awards will not be on air in 2024 but will return in 2025.
‘The show received a fantastic reception in 2023, achieving consolidated figures of 2.9 million and doubling viewership year on year, so we look forward to the show’s return.’
