A British teenage tourist was allegedly raped in the toilets of a bar in Crete earlier this week, just yards away from her unsuspecting parents.
The horrific attack happened on Wednesday evening after the 16-year-old holidaymaker spent an evening with her parents at a bar in the tourist hotspot Malia.
The young victim excused herself to go to the restroom, where she was reportedly attacked by an assailant who followed her into the bathroom.
He quickly fled the scene, but Malian police established his identity after reviewing CCTV footage from the bar after the horrified victim reported the ordeal later that evening. Prototheme reports.
Police are now hunting the 28-year-old Pakistani national they believe carried out the attack.
