British foodie discovers ‘best ever’ late night menu item at McDonald’s Australia: ‘I had no idea, the UK needs to up its game’

A British foodie revealed his delight after a late order at McDonald’s – and listed three reasons why the fast food chain is ‘elite’ Down Under.

Ieuan Jonesfrom Wales, is currently on holiday in Melbourne and enjoying everything the Australian city has to offer.

The 24-year-old couldn’t resist tasting Macca’s in Australia and all the differences from the chain’s British restaurants.

Ieuan was thrilled when he discovered the all-day breakfast menu and immediately ordered a hash brown – an exclusive morning delicacy at home.

‘A hash brown! Britain needs to up their game because it’s 9pm and I just ordered a hash brown,” Ieuan said in a video. ‘Astonishing!’

The foodie could not overcome the delights of Australia’s extensive menu.

In addition to the hash brown, he also grabbed a Big Mac, fries, a wrap with chicken snacks and a Coke Zero.

After a quick taste test, Ieuan revealed he thought Australian chips were ‘so much better’.

“The aioli sauce is a game changer,” he said, revealing that UK Macca’s do not offer the popular sauce.

The British foodie advised everyone to dip their hash browns in barbecue sauce for an ‘unreal’ dining experience.

Thousands were shocked by Ieuan’s revelation.

‘No way, I can’t believe Maccies Aus make hash browns all day, I love them!’ one commented.

“So jealous of the all day breakfast menu,” wrote another.

Some even wanted to start a petition to have British McDonald’s locations sell hash browns 24/7.
