His role is the latest in a string of high-profile roles, including Daemon Targaryen in Game Of Thrones prequel House Of The Dragon and the upcoming Sky series The Death Of Bunny Munro, in which he takes the titular lead.
The actor was announced to star in the Sky TV adaptation of singer and author Nick Cave’s 2009 novel in November 2023.
Cave will serve as executive producer on the six-part series, which is written by BAFTA Pete Jackson and directed by Isabella Eklöf.
The story follows self-proclaimed lothario Bunny Munro and his young son named Bunny Junior as they take an increasingly derailing road trip through the south of England.
