Britain’s Got Talent viewers slam illusionist as ‘underwhelming’ as they figure out guillotine trick

Britain’s Got Talent viewers label creepy illusionist ‘underwhelming’ for claiming to have discovered how his ‘tired’ guillotine trick was done

Viewers on Britain’s Got Talent have criticized Miki Dark’s performance in Wednesday’s semi-final, claiming they fumbled the trick.

The terrifying illusionist took to the stage once again, in an attempt to secure a place in the grand final on Sunday.

He forced judges Amanda Holden and Bruno Tonioli to be his volunteers in the dangerous guillotine routine.

Bruno was instructed to kneel and put his head into the neck hole at the bottom of the execution device.

Meanwhile, Amanda had to hold on to a rope tied to a huge knife hanging directly above Bruno.

Then Miki scared Amanda, causing her to jump and let go of the rope, sending the knife falling right on Bruno’s head.

The audience and judges gasped as a group of red-hooded assistants appeared on stage.

To the relief of the viewers, a shocked Bruno was dragged unharmed from behind the guillotine, with a shocked Amanda hugging him.

Amanda admitted that she “thought I killed Bruno,” but despite the shock factor, the judges admitted they would have liked more from the act.

Simon Cowell commented: ‘I felt it was over too quickly, I would have liked a bit more.’

One of them pointed out, “Did anyone else notice how long Bruno’s neck suddenly became when he knelt down?”

Another said, “@BrunoTonioli shoved his head lower than usual into @mikidark_’s guillotine and ruined the trick.”

A third agreed, writing, “Now just watch #BGT. OMG! #Bruno gave away the whole trick when he got into the guillotine’.

A fourth commented, “That was so s***. Once he put ‘Bruno’s’ head in it didn’t move once hahaha could tell it was a fake head. Never seen such a f*t.’

And a sixth added: “The guillotine act is a bit tired and the camera betrayed Bruno’s head as he dove down.”

Miki failed to reach the final, but the two places were won by Ghetto Kids and Travis George.

They join Musa Motha, Amy Lou Smith, Viggo Venn and Olivia Lynes on June 4 for a chance to win a cash prize of £250,000 and a spot in the annual Royal Variety Performance.
