Britain’s Got Talent viewers slam Alesha Dixon and say she ‘shouldn’t be a judge’ after the star repeatedly split the vote during semi-finals

Britain’s Got Talent viewers have criticized Alesha Dixon, saying she ‘shouldn’t be a judge’ on the show because she doesn’t give her honest opinion.

The 45-year-old singer, who released her new single Ransom this week, has been on the jury of the ITV show since 2012.

The panel, which also included Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Bruno Tonioli, caused controversy over the voting of their judges during the live semi-finals.

But now the three-day series of split votes has led to the public accusing Alesha of having a ‘game plan’ as she has voted the opposite of Bruno most nights this week.

Fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their disappointment with the judge and her apparently tactical voting strategy.

They wrote: ‘Alesha Dixon should not be a BBT judge. She doesn’t vote for the best act, she only votes for the act that Bruno doesn’t vote for, because she doesn’t want to vote for the best act. She’s been doing it all week.”

“Alesha will straighten things out.” Instead of doing her job as a judge and actually making a choice’

‘Alesha escaped by not voting and by ‘just going’ you are paid to judge, give your opinion and SAY WHO YOU WANT and what you think should be in the final…poor’

“Without trying to be too rude, what’s the point of Alesha voting? The judges might as well not be there during the semi-finals’

“Why does Alesha always decide to ‘Just vote’ honey, you vote for your favorite act – and not the other act to make the voting fair.”

Alesha dazzled the crowd on Friday when she took to the stage to perform her latest release for an exclusive performance.

But Magician Trixy embarrassed the singer when he revealed her ‘live’ performance was actually pre-recorded.

During his breathtaking performance, using Amanda Holden’s mobile phone, he asked Bruno Tonioli what time he woke up and punched the number into the calculator.

He then went to Alesha for her specific number: how many people she thought were in the Hammersmith Apollo theatre.

But when he asked the judges how she felt that night, he revealed that Alesha had pre-recorded her musical performance for the show.

He told the jury: ‘Alesha, great performance by the way.’

Alesha giggled awkwardly before thanking him.

The singer later took the stage to perform her new song, Ransom, in a pre-recorded segment for the show.

Trixy’s comment didn’t go unnoticed as fans were quick to point out the mistake on X, formerly known as Twitter.

One wrote: ‘The magician giving away that Alesha pre-recorded her performance #BGT #BritainsGotTalent.’

‘Did we miss Alesha’s performance? #BGT #BritainsGotTalent.’…’Magician has just revealed that Alesha’s performance later is a pre-rec’… ‘So Alesha won’t be performing live then.’

As Alesha performed her hit mash-up on stage, the ‘live’ notification box from the show’s stream had disappeared from ITV viewers’ screens.

Alesha was seen singing her new single Ransom after all eight acts had performed.

As the show paused, host Ant McPartlin said: “We’ll be right back with an exclusive performance from our very own Alesha Dixon!”

She then stormed onto the stage in a stunning black glitter outfit – after previously being seen in a lime green dress.

After finishing her dazzling performance, Ant told Alesha she ‘better go get changed’.

He and his co-host Declan Donnelly then made their way to the judges’ table before asking the three remaining judges which finalists they thought had performed well.

As Alesha’s seat remained empty, Simon Cowell replied: “First of all, I have to talk about that Alesha performance.

‘That was seriously seriously good. I’m overwhelmed and good for you, Alesha. That was really good.’

After another commercial break, Alesha reappeared in her beautiful lime green dress.
