Britain’s Got Talent star Tom Ball had to get ‘used to’ the ‘pain’ of his gruelling health regime after deciding to undergo a body transformation

Former Britain’s Got Talent star Tom Ball had admitted it was ‘painful’ to transform his body after going on a health kick.

The 26-year-old singer took part in the ITV talent show in 2022 and finished second behind winner, comedian Axel Blake.

Tom has since undergone a grueling fitness and healthy eating regime and decided to get himself into better shape after marrying his wife Hannah Burtenshaw in October 2022.

However, Tom said he had to ‘get used’ to the pain of training with his personal trainer.

He told the Daily Star: ‘It was painful at first, but it always is, and then you slowly get used to it.

“You find things you like about the gym and that’s the one thing I struggled with when I was old enough to go to the gym, but not recently.

‘When I went to the gym alone I would just lift the weights and use the running machine and I hate that.

‘It’s monotonous, I don’t enjoy it at all.

‘But my PT soon realized there were things I might enjoy and that was boxing.

“Just like physical things.”

Tom previously spoke about his battle with type 1 diabetes.

Speak with The mirrorthe singer said he hoped to share his story to raise awareness and help others who may be suffering.

Diabetes is a lifelong condition that causes a person’s blood sugar levels to become too high.

Tom has since undergone a grueling fitness and healthy eating regime and has decided to get himself into better shape after marrying his wife Hannah Burtenshaw in October 2022.

“This condition is something I have lived with for a long time and was officially diagnosed when I was eight years old,” he told the publication.

He said some of his students saw him checking his blood glucose levels one day.

They then asked questions and urged him to be open about his struggle.

“But it wasn’t until my students started asking questions about it as they witnessed my blood glucose levels being checked that I realized how important it was to talk about it and help them understand it.”
