After seventeen years on the jury of Britain’s Got Talent, there isn’t much Simon Cowell hasn’t seen.
But in scenes airing during Saturday’s show, the 64-year-old music mogul hides behind his hands after a choir of Simon lookalikes storm the stage and belt out Tina Turner’s hit Simply The Best.
In a teaser clip, judges Amanda Holden, Bruno Tonioli and Alesha Dixon laughed in amusement as a red-faced Simon watched as the lead artist began singing in Simon’s iconic white shirt and black high-waisted trouser combination.
As the famous chorus sounded, scores of Simon clones waltzed onto the stage to join in the performance.
The audience was left in stitches, as was judge Amanda, 52, who couldn’t stop giggling and laughing.
Simon Cowell was unprepared for a usual group of auditionees on Britain’s Got Talent as they stormed the stage dressed as him in scenes broadcast during Saturday night’s show.
After 17 years on the Britain’s Got Talent judge, there’s not much Simon hasn’t seen, but the final audition left him red-faced
Simon, who seemed both flattered and embarrassed, covered his face with his hands and just sighed, “Oh my God.”
Presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly appeared to be having the time of their lives as they high-fived each Simon clone, with Ant at one point saying: ‘It’s like the worst nightmare I’ve ever had!’
While the Simon impersonators wore black aviators, Simon had red-tinted glasses.
The former X Factor judge explained the reason to fans in February, revealing he wore them for health reasons.
Sharing a photo of himself wearing the glasses to the jury, he wrote: ‘According to the internet, I just discovered that I have a ‘mystery illness’.
‘For anyone concerned, I missed two auditions at the end of a day two weeks ago because I get migraines after long days in the movie lights.
He ended by saying: ‘Next week we’re filming BGT in Manchester – looking forward to seeing you then. P.S. That’s why I wear these glasses!’
The music mogul is known for his uniformed wardrobe of sunglasses, a white shirt, jeans and black shoes.
However, the star has shown off his physique in the current series as he has worn a selection of figure-hugging T-shirts.
The large group of people did not immediately reveal their surprise, as it was only one clone who entered the stage singing at first
But just as the famous chorus sounded, scores of Simon clones waltzed onto the stage, their voices ringing.
And of course, they all wore the music mogul’s signature white shirt, black pants and black aviator glasses, and even a black toupee.
Simon, probably both flattered and embarrassed, covered his face with his hands and just sighed, “Oh my God.”
Hosting duo Ant and Dec seemed to be having the time of their lives as they high-fived each Simon clone, with Ant hilariously saying at one point: ‘It’s like the worst nightmare I’ve ever had!’

Amanda recently revealed the secret to Simon’s ripped figure when she confessed he is now training to compete with fellow judge Bruno.
Amanda revealed Simon has ’embraced his sporty side’ as he ‘does push-ups backstage’ before filming the ITV show.
She said The sun: ‘He did his push-ups backstage. Simon is impressive, he has some weapons.
‘He does it to compete with Bruno! Bruno has his pecs, but he does his push-ups in the privacy of his own home. I managed to film Simon doing it. I thought: I don’t miss that. I put that all over social media.”
‘He embraces his sporting side in this series. He shows up in sweatpants and a compression top. But the compression top shows its best features. I think he’s pretty proud of his pecs and his guns. Simon has the brawn factor.”
Britain’s Got Talent continues tomorrow at 7.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
